Okay, so I finally got not just a decent mic, but a top quality one, and with it, a new recording program - which I'm still messing with the ins and outs of. Actually, I only started playing with it today.
Amai Doku
(Made it available for download by anyone with an Esnips account. Even if you can't play it, you can download it. Those using Firefox might want to try with Internet Explorer. Actually, I can't listen to anything on Esnips on Firefox myself, at the moment. >.<! They'd better fix it!)

Lyrics:
Romaji:
Kuroi hana - no yami no - kumori ga - tomaranai.
Shiroi chou - no hikari - no tsubasa wa ugokanai.
Amai doku ga haitteta.
Chiisana - aka namida - kuchibiru wo - sawatta
Amai doku ga haitteta.
Translation:
The black flower's dark cloud is unstoppable.
The white butterfly's wings of light won't move.
Sweet poison seeped in.
A little red tear touched my lips.
Sweet poison seeped in.
Of course, this is in the very VERY early stages. Especially being written in Japanese, the lyrics might change. (In fact, just now while typing this I changed hajimaranai (won't start) to ugokanai (won't move) cause the word I was going for finally hit me. ) If I can find a better word than sawatta (which means touched) then I'll probably use that. What I really want is caressed or something, but even if such a word exists in Japanese, it depends on whether the rythm fits. For now, sawaru will do. ^.^
He Closed His Eyes
I decided to record this piece as well since I'm having so much fun with my new baby. (My mic, that is. )
Another song inspired by the Visual Kei scene I've been into lately, only this one's in English. Very Evanescence. This is actually the 'emo song' I've been chatting to Meli-chan about.
Anyways, I haven't got a clue whether it's finished or not. I don't feel like it absolutely needs more, but then, I don't feel like this has to be the end, either. So we'll see.
I actually recorded it in two keys. Personally I like the higher key best (just cause I prefer to sing higher incase my voice cuts out on lower notes) but by the time I got everything sorted and re-recorded the higher key some of the higher notes were unpleasant. Plus my voice sounds darker in the lower key which suits the style, so that's what I uploaded. ^.^
(Same deal. If Firefox doesn't work try Internet Explorer. Those with an Esnips account can download and listen.)

Lyrics:
He closed his eyes, and all the world was standing still
He closed his eyes, inside the lullaby began
He closed his eyes, and whispered darkness to the world
He closed his eyes, and released the fears he'd kept inside.
And did you know that it rains black and bloody
And did you know that the shadows bite with hunger
And did you hear that the winds scream with violence
And did you see that the world is dead inside.
And he calls to the void, begs to end the silence
And he calls to the sky, screams to end the darkness
And he calls to his heart, tries to find it somewhere
And he calls to nothing, nothing hears.
He closed his eyes, and darkness opened at the gate
He closed his eyes, and he turned away from the light.
And did you know that, it was just deceiving him
And did you know that, he was never undone.
And did you hear that, his voice raw with loneliness
And did you see that, his world was dead inside.
And he calls to you, begs you to end the silence.
And he calls to your eyes, screams out for you to see him.
And he calls to you heart, so try to find it somewhere.
And he calls to someone, can you hear?
