all the manga i've been reading lately was the stuff whitelilacs been uploading. XD

Ahh THAT stuff...woot...XD I must say it's been the fuel for me working on my Phantom x Alviss fanart. Can't wait until I'm all done with it. I really like this one. Of course that's a ummm PG-13 one...and then there's the *nosebleed* one. ^^; Or I'll try to make it *nosebleed* worthy within reason of course. Unfortunately, I'm no Nase Yamato-san ^^

I have Black Cat downloaded (at least the beginning), but I haven't read it really. I think I read like the first chapter, or attempted to. Recently it's been random stuff that I've been posting and some Death Note here and there. Not entirely caught up on Bleach. 211 wouldn't download for me when I tried it earlier...x___x

lol. the last i checked, i was only at around 207 for Bleach. =P black cat was a really good series for me, back when i was a wee tadpole in the wide pool of anime. :3

Since all I do is read manga all day instead of studying, I suppose I can recommend some for everyone else, too... Be like me and procrastinate!

Yatteraneeze! by Koo Akizuki and Mieko Koide (Dokidoki; Yaoi) - Hiroya decides that he wants to be something other than a straight-laced honors student, but he doesn't really understand what he's getting into when he asks Masaki to teach him how to be cool. It's beginning to get more angsty, but it's amazing because they are actually discussing the repurcussions of having unprotected sex between men! This is the first manga I've read that addresses this issue.

Koori no Mamono no Monogatari by Shiho Sugiura (Storm in Heaven; Shounen Ai) - Ishuca wakes the infamous Ice Cold Demon, Blood, who despite his better reasoning, can't bring himself to eat such an innocent and willing sacrifice. This is another long running series, with a really gentle feel to it. We see how Ishuca and Blood's relationship develops and how they come to rely on each other when both humans and demons reject them.

Lovely Complex by Nakahara Aya (Vera, Eternal Blue, LoveCo; Shoujo) - The story of Koizumi who despairs over her super tall figure, and Ootani who's still waiting for a growth spurt to bring him to average height. They're known as a comedic duo in class, and they always fight, but Koizumi begins to feel more and more for Ootani. This is a really funny and sweet manga about growing up, finding yourself, and falling in love.

D.Gray-Man by Hoshino Katsura (Yanime, Timcanpi; Shounen) - Mankind is being threatened by soul consuming Akuma and the Earl of the Millenium who controls them and his out to destroy the world. Excorsists, such as Allen, are determined to defeat the Earl, but that's not such an easy task. This manga is action packed and full of humor, has lots of interesting characters, and very eye-pleasing art, especially for a shounen series.

Everyone should check them out!

OOOooooh!!! I read Koori no Mamono no Monogatari!!! i was like "wtf?! HARRY POTTER?!" XD haha....Ishuca looks a lot like pothead. >.> ok, forgive me if i've offended any HP fans here.

Hahaha, he is vaguely reminiscent of Harry Potter. Although I'm fairly sure KnMnM was written waaaay before HP. *sigh* KnMnM is getting really angsty, and the scanslators are going really slowly... but that's ok because it's so good I want to savor it. ~ Yummy.

Hm...Last I heard there was like what...ten volumes? I stopped around volume two. XD This was like...two-three years ago so there might be like...fifteen volumes now. or something. no clue.

...maybe this is a hint that i should pick up the manga again. XD

OMG... according to the EoP website, Koori no Mamono is 24 volumes long! They've scanslated up to vol 6 ch 1a. I really <3 it. I should try to find the original Japanese and just read it.

In other news: The Tyrant Who Fall In Love aka Koisuru Boukun! Read it and love it!

I like Animal X, too! I started reading it from when they released the first chapter scanslated and I don't want to read the last chapter because I don't want it to end! But now they're releasing the sequal so I'll go back and finish it! XD (I am wierd, I know.)
