The title says it all. And Lovux really thinks a thread like this is needed, so that we can have one single discussion about where the TeniPuri manga is going, in all it's black and white glory, instead of making separate threads about it every week.

Attention to all anime-only people:
THIS THREAD WILL HAVE LOTS OF SPOILERS.
If you don't wish for having the story told beforehand, I suggest you take your leave as fast as you can.
While we're still on the subject of spoilers, I'll have to ask all of you here to keep this thread clean from SPOILER PICS as well. Since Shounen Jump is coming way earlier than the scanlations, there is usally a pic of that chapter's highlight being posted for people to discuss, but here, I do believe it will be best to keep those out of the picture. I don't think any of you want the experience ruined by people who talks too much.

Now, onto the discussion about the latest chapter - 373.

So far, Lovux is quite impressed by Yukimura's use of finesse and style rather than DBZ tennis. Echizen has the Pinnacle of Hard Work, but Yukimura returns his shots like they were nothing... I like that. I know that it's only a matter of time before Yukimura goes super saiyan as well, but I'm enjoying this as long as it lasts. *sigh* reminds me of good ol' surrealistic PoT without auras here and there...
Also, Urayama almost fooled me there. XD My initial thought was "member of Rikkai's girl team?" but after one or two seconds I made the opposite conclusion. And Sanada was so sexy when he ONLY TURNED HIS HEAD towards Urayama to have him shutting up.

However, the real question is:
WHERE IS MY KEIGO?!?!?!

lol I knew he was a guy, I was just wondering who the bloody hell he was. Interesting, though, that a new character who is not a regular has suddenly been introduced... Are we looking at a continuation...?

And Lovux, dear, your Keigo is where he should be, reigning smugly over the ground, knowing everything that's going on in the match, and casually commenting about how he would have been down there, but who wanted to deal with Yukimura's annoyingly plain tennis?

I feel like I am dying. Seriously! Have Kishimote and Konomi just got a meeting and said lets kill her?

I am really afraid for Ryomakins. He isnt getting a comeback-. He keeps loosing and loosing and getting more tired and even BLEEDING though his nose and he doesnt even score a point. I know its stupid to worry about this becuase winning or loosing he will certainly get his glory time to get some points, but I am so nervous.

And I do have to say, I am getting tired of Konomi pulling the injured card EVERY time a really good player plays. We went though it with Tezuka, so I really hope he doesnt pull the "but Ryoma only did good becuase he has this problem" thing. Let them face eachother to their hearts content without the bloody injure excuse!! >.<

And I have to say, the lets say Ryoma is not really a wonder when he is annoy the hell out of me. Even Rikkadai, or any enemy or any Ryoma hater has to admit he is GOOD and really UNCOMMON with his talent. Hate him all you want for his acitude, but dont say he is not something else, becuase EVERYONE knows he is.

I have really mix feeling toward the PoT manga at its current state. I mean for one I do want Seigaku to win because Fuji and Tezuka deserve it. On the other hand I reallllllllllly want to see Yukimura win this match against Echizen which means Rikkai would win. Like I say many times I really want to wipe the smug look off his face and I know all the Echizen fans are probably throwing daggers and cursing me right now. (run away)

oh and I love Fuji's match against Niou ......... that was just endless love. God, Fuji rocks so much.

So Yukimura now has the ability to seal away your senses just by playing tennis? I dunno what to say... I mean, this is not only unrealistic á la DBZ (but PoT has been like that for a good while, so it's not a new thing), but it will only make Echizen seem even more amazing and blah blah blah everybody in the series already think he is when he overcomes Yukimura. Of course, that's quite a big part of the whole meaning behind this manga (to show that Echizen > all), but still.

Yet, I somehow found Yuki's ability to seal away your senses kind of cool! But Lovux is that kind of person to "buy anything", she's not that picky.
It would be awesome if Atobe could to the same.
