...When I started reading this, it was a "holy crap, wait, what?" moment for me. It appears the manga takes place several months after the end of the National Arc, but they're still in the same school. Tezuka and the rest of the seniors haven't graduated Seigaku yet! :/ So no Captain Kaidoh. DX
But I think one of my favorite scenes has to be Eiji jumping up the surveillance camera pole. XD
And obviously Ryoma's appearance at the tennis courts HAD to be "miracle kid returns, go!". DX And he hasn't grown an inch. XD He's still short as a stick.
Liliaden Krauser is also really strong for such a pretty boy - he managed to hit a high schooler against a railing and DENT it.
And Sanada got even more awesome. I loved the panel where he said "How's that?".
Some of the new characters are pretty awesome. :0 This new high school kid with glasses and curly hair is really cute (his name is Kanata Irie). And Kazuya Tokugawa... OMG, don't get me started on him (he looks a bit like an older Kaidoh. o.o). And the coach Yukio Kurobe is HOT. Albeit he'd be even hotter if he didn't look girly. XD Itaru Saitou, the mental coach, is pretty cute, too. He reminded me of Orochimaru in one panel, though. XD But... wow. Somehow his attitude resembles a mix of hyper!Jirou and Yukimura. :/ (Shiita Urayama, the new Rikkai kid, he has awful hair. XD)
I was amazed at the plot twist in one chapter. ...The doubles pairs had to pair up and then the coach said they had to play AGAINST each other, and the one who lost was eliminated. DX So no Golden Pair in this manga. AT ALL. Or Silver Pair or Dirty Pair, for that matter.
The Niou vs. Yagyuu match was pretty awesome. :0 No wonder I like them so much. ...Yagyuu can also tell when Niou's attempting to trick him!
And srsly. I CAN'T WAIT. There's gonna be a Yukimura vs. Sanada match! THIS WILL BE EPIC!
