Anyway, we were with haku waiting and COLD for the first time since Octuber or someting, and started this topic of conversation..

What will Tenipuri characters be doing when they are older?
Obviously, they are not all gonna be tennis players, so..

Cept my-cutey-butted-honey (meaning Ryoma) whi is no doubt gonna be the cutest greatest and bestest tennis player ever.

Momo would work on the radio, and have his own show were he chooses the music And dedicate them to Ryoma and once in a while he can host a show or something.

Oishi HAS to be a doctor. Not so sure about Eiji.

Kaoru is going to be the cutest vet alive. And he is so nice with cats and dogs ^^

Inui is going to be the new and hundred times better Inuoe of the sport world and publish books about strange thing (might even have a cook book)

Taka.san is obvious.

Fuji is going to be therapist. He will rule the world and destroy his pacient´s lifes.

Hyoutei is even funnier. Atobe is gonna rule the world and own a set of every bussines in the world. And maybe go into modeling and acting once in while.
Jirou is gonna be Atobe´s house wife and be spoilt by his lover...

Gakuto is gonna be a professional gossiper. Meaning tabloid writer...and talk about entertaiment news maybe...

Oshitari would be Atobe´s lawyer. And married. And having an affair with Gakuto...

Ohtori is gonna work in music for sure. Shishido I think would make a hot and nice teacher. And they will adopt too...

Besides ex Hyoutei regulars would make Oshitari´s wife life impossible.
For example, they meet at a restaurant:

*Oshitari and random wife arrive and have to wait a hundred hours*

Atobe: What are you doing? *to random wife* You are sitting on Ore-sama´s chair!
RW: *sits somewhere else* Sorry, I didnt see it was your chair
Atobe: Every chair is Ore-sama´s he OWNS this place.
Jirou: *randomly falls sleep using her as a pillow*
Gakuto: Isnt Yuushi GREAT in bed? *malicious* Especially when he does that little thing he does with his tong..
Shishido: I dont want to know!

*they are all eating*
Random Wife: Can somebody pass the salt?
Atobe: Kabaji! Bring me the salt! *uses it*
Jirou: I want some! *uses it*
Gakuto: Give it to me! *uses it*
Shishido: Stop hogging it! *uses it* Choutarou you look like you need some *puts some on Choutarou´s plate*
Oshitari: *uses it*Honey...we are gonna have to ask for more salt...

Professions and relationships aside, I find myself agreeing with fanfics that say Jirou will be tall and Gakuto will stay small. It makes for good lulz.

Think anyone would be a good fashion model? How about boy bands?

Who'd marry Ann in the end? I bet she'd find a Brazillian footballer working in Portugual who's 2139213x hotter than Kamio/anyone else and marry him. That'd make things awkward when Momo has to do sports news.

Meanwhile Kirihara and Bunta have a cake shop where they find amusement in slipping extra sour juices into random cakes. The manager doesn't eat them so he doesn't know. Bunta likes the job because the shop doesn't open til noon each day, but Kirihara often gets fustrated with customers.
(don't ask where the above paragraph came from, it was just too funny not to type)


Everyone capable of playing still does street tennis from time to time as a hobby. :X

In 20 years~

Atobe - will be married to a woman he hates but was forced to marry. Has two children, a son and a daughter. Spends most of his time in business meetings as he works on taking over the world (kidding, just the business world). When he's not working, he's usually with his lover.

Kaidoh - Will almost have gone pro in tennis. At the age of 20, however, he was involved in a car accident that broke his left leg in four places, making it impossible for him to ever really use it again in an athletic way (he can walk and jog a little, but nothing more involved). He got a job at an athletic club and is now manager of the thing.

Gakuto - Runs away at the age of 18 and joins a traveling performance company. Falls in love and is happy for about 2 years. Boyfriend dies. Gakuto goes through major depression. Has a long string of one-night stands for over a year. Falls hard for a guy. Guy abuses Gakuto. Gakuto deals with the abuse for almost two years. Finally commits suicide.


...request the characters and I'll do more. And not all will be sad, just whatever strikes me as most likely. Because I just make these up on the fly.

=(! My morbid sense of humor found little parts of those slightly funny and totally plausible, but the rest of me was bummed quite a bit. Kaidoh's part really got to me because things like that happen waaay to often. Gakuto's was just downright awful though...*pats Saro*

May I ask what happened to Fuji and Inui? (Very curious about Inui especially.)

Tessa ne-san, what would happen to Choutaro, Shishido, Fuji, Ryoma, Tezuka, Niou, Yagyuu, Kajimoto, Yuuta, and Mizuki?

Fuji - goes to an art university, specializing in photography. Takes a few drawing classes. One of them has the oh-so-popular nude model scene. To his surprise, the model is his old friend Saeki. They meet up, catch up on each other's lives, and become good friends again. Fuji falls. He kisses. Saeki rejects. Fuji throughs himself into his art. Fuji becomes famous. Meets a guy. Falls in love again. Guy accepts. Life is good for Fuji and he treats his nieces and nephews, not to mention godkids, as his own.

Inui - Stopped making juices after one knocked him out for almost a week. However, the government caught word of what had happened and approached him. Inui now works for them, working in the research labs, working on cures for diseases.

Choutarou - stops playing on the tennis team in his third year of junior high and focuses on his music for a year. Rejoins the Hyotei tennis team in high school and is soon placed back in doubles, though not with Shishido. But without Shishido as his partner, Chouta finds it hard to want to play tennis and soon quits. He focuses, once more on his music. During his second year of college, he is told by his music instructor to audition for the Tokyo Symphony. Chouta does. He's not accepted but it is told to try out again in a few years. He does. He gets in.

Shishido: Father loses his job, which means Shishido should leave Hyotei because his tuition is no longer free. Shishido gets a job to pay for school. He spends more and more time at his job, working in a sports shop, quitting the tennis club. When he's a third year in high school, get promoted to manager. Works at the shop. When the owner's son dies, Shishido steps in and becomes a replacement, eventually inheriting the place when the owner dies of a heartattack when Shishido is in his mid-30s. Never marries. Always remembers a certain person he loved but lost so long ago.

Ryoma - moves back to the U.S. and starts to gain a name for himself in the junior circuits. Is homeschooled due to his schedule. Goes pro at the age of 17 and wins his first Grand Slam at 19. Peaks at #4 in the world when he's 25, bounces around the top 20 until he's 31. Retires due to numerous sports injuries at age 34. Lives off of winnings.

Tezuka - hurts his arm in high school and is forced to not play tennis again. Studies law and eventually is a lawyer. Unlike what most would think, he does not represent the super-wealthy. He works for the people who have trouble paying. He is supported by several charity organizations, who help to pay for his legal fees, which are severely discounted.

Niou - travels to Europe the summer after high school. Comes back to Japan. Opens a prank shop. Joins civil union with long-time boyfriend Yagyuu. The couple have a very active sex life and will bring in others when they feel like it.

Yagyuu - attends university and majors in teaching. Becomes a teacher at Hyotei (pays the best) and joins civil union with long-time boyfriend Niou. The couple have a very active sex life and will bring in others when they feel like it.

Kajimoto - *eh, sorry, don't know who he is*

Yuuta - trains and trains in tennis, going pro when he's 19. Never wins a Grand Slam but does come in as runner up in 12 of them in his 15 year career. Marries his manager towards the end of his career and has two children, both girls. His brother spoils them rotten. Is given the title of Japan's greatest male tennis player.

Mizuki - Gets an internship at a fashion magazine while in college. Loves it. Works at the magazine for ten years, secretly designing his own brand ~Ghei~. A Japanese supermodel discovers him and he is skyrockted to fame. On his way to New York Fashion week, his plane crashes in the Pacific Ocean. There are no surviviors.

Already did Gakuto. Saro yelled at me about that too because apparently, Gakuto has AIDS.

Marui - grows bored with tennis in high school. Gets interested in the culinary arts. Studies said culinary arts in college. Opens his own little restaurant. It is semi-successful.

Kirihara - stays with Jirou forever and adopts lots of kids and puppies, even though Kiri-Ri isn't a big fan of either-- Sticks with Tennis, eventually going pro at 18. Wins a few big tournaments, no Grand Slams. Dies in a car crash.

Yukimura - becomes a motivational speaker. Is often mistaken for a girl. Breaks many hearts. Never settles down with anyone, but does adopt a young child.

Sakuno - has her heart broken when Ryoma leaves. Goes on to college, becoming an elementary teacher. Through an omai, she meets Sanada Genichirou. He falls in love with her at first sight, though he scares her. They meet again, through the omai, and after a while, she starts falling for him. He proposes, she agrees. They marry. She quits teaching, becoming the Lady of the Sanada dojo. Has two children, a son and a daughter.

Saeki - Goes to school to be an art student. Gets into modeling. Meets up with Fuji when Fuji's class is told to draw Saeki, who's the class' nude model. The two renew their friendship. Fuji kisses Saeki. Saeki rejects, being interested in girls and only girls. Not girlish mans. Finds a girl and marries her, though he still dwells on the 'what if I'd given Fuji a chance?' which eventually ruins his marriage. They are in the process of divorcing. There were no children.

Bane - gets a job straight out of high school. Becomes a salaryman.

Davide - moves overseas. Becomes a hit comic.

*Eh, Shiraishi is someone I don't really know and Horio, sorry but I don't know how to give his story without bashing him.*
