280 is good money XD hahaha I was listening to music, and I decided to share some national music with you guys =) to be very honest I dislike most of the brazilian music,if you ever hear the name "axé" or "forró",I advise you to keep distance but there are some really nice classic rock songs and mpb (música popular brasileira=brazilian popular music) The first music is a rock song I like named first mistakes,I'm linking it on esnips and adding a translation I made of the lyrics =) www.esnips.com/doc/c13c59ae-390d-41d1-9c5f-06c183c88392/Capital-Inicial---Primeiros-Erros-(Acústico)My road is every morning Don't try to know where I am My destiny is nobody elses's I'm not leaving any footsteps behind If you get me you don't see me If you don't see me you don't get me Don't try to know where I am If the way I act surprises you If my body became the sun... If my mind became the sun... But it only keeps raining and raining raining and raining If someday I could watch My entire past And could stop the rain at my first mistakes My body would become the sun My mind would become the sun But it only keeps raining and raining raining and raining Now there's waters of march, wich is one of the most famous mpb of all times.Tom Jobin himself (the composer) wrote a english version of the lyrics, they're pretty huge,so I'm not posting it here but linking them too. This song is the kind of song we grow up listening to and learn at music classes =) music: www.esnips.com/doc/27e2426e-6dc7-446f-8e3f-7952e9d00cff/ÁGUAS-DE-MARÇO---Elis-Reginalyrics: www.allthelyrics.com/lyrics/tom_jobim/waters_of_march-lyrics-1165954.html

Wow, everyone's so amazing and interesting. I'm kinda jealous actually. My family's pretty much Americanized and lost most our heritage because we've been in the U.S. for several generations.

Oh geez. I was tackled. And glomped. I really should show my face here more.
Well let's see, we're getting into the holiday season.
For Thanksgiving (oh my god. That's in a week. I need to pack! Not good!), my mom's entire family gets together. Everyone comes from all over the country to the little, itty, bitty town where most my family lives. The day before Thanksgiving and until about 1pm-3pm on Thanksgiving is cooking. Eating time is until about 3-5 (it really depends on the amount of people and food). After that, it's card games time.
The day after is Black Friday so everyone's out shopping. But Saturday, everyone gets together again to celebrate all the birthdays because there's about 15 people in my family with birthdays in the last half of November/first half of December.
I dunno, that's how that one goes for my family.

Thanksgiving sounds like fun ^^ The food must be really good! It takes quite some time to prepare it,does everybody help? I love eating, but cooking ins't quite my thing >.< I already ruined noodles x.x
I liked the black friday,a day dedicated to shopping, gotta love that!
