Hmmm, so what am I doing to celebrate my birthday?
Well, it starts last Monday, the last day of my friend's stay in Japan. We went and saw a combined Heidi/Gilgamesh concert and it was fing incredible. I don't think I'll ever get to see another concert like that in my life. (Expect maybe the combination of Heidi and Lynch at a live-house.)
So then I had four days off from my celebrations on a field trip in the country side.
The first and second, I settled for opening one birthday card a day.
The third, another birthday card, and - that's right. An On/Off concert. Those guys are hysterical!!! If anyone's interested, let me know in a reply and I'll give you a rundown of their funny stoires and stuff, but here I'll say this: They're ballads are really something special. Oh, and I spent $150 on an On/Off necklace but it's a gorgeous cross with a real ruby in the middle. (I also shook their hands. XD)
That night, we went to Karaoke (and subsequently Purikura) with one of my best friend's who had just arrived. It was great to be able to sing together at karaoke after so long!
The fourt - another card... and... KAT-TUN at TOKYO DOME!!!!! Okay, so I paid $700 for the ticket, which is about $640 more than fanclub members who got it the traditional way, BUT! For a once in a life-time experience, and considering my mother paid $400 since it's my 21st, it was definitely worth it. Why? Because not only did I have a seat in the arena, but it was in A-block which means I had a damn decent view, was in, "Oh look there's a gaijin waving at me" range, and I caught one of the streamers saying "Queen of Pirates" (the name of the concert/new album) to hang on my wall.
Oh, and Kiss My Ft.2, ABC, Hey Say Jump - KOYAMA AND MASSU FROM NEWS - and Kinky Kids' Koichi were all there, the latter three being spectators who were dragged up on stage. XD Hey say at least was planned, I think because they sang a bit of Summary with KAT-TUN, but I think it was only for last night. XD. As for KMFt and ABC, they were the back-up groups.
How was KAT-TUN, you ask? Amazing as ever. Love those boys!
Today we go to karaoke for Free-Time... MUWAHAHAHAHA!!!! (I just hope I have enough voice left to sing with after screaming so much last night. ) And then Yakiniku tonight. And one of my best friends is here, so when she's finished with what she has to do, we're going to hang out and be fangirls as usual. ^.^
Well, I'm going to open my present from home and then crawl back under the covers and sleep some more since it's way too damn early.
