There is somebody who doesnt like them? At least one of their wide and to-all-tragets works has to appeal you..
So, my girls, what woks do you like from CLAMP? Which ones have you read? Which one do you like the best?
Is just that Ive just finished reading Tokyo Babylon and...wow...I am overwlemed with my newfound CLAMP love lately. I am thinking of re reading X and give Tsubasa another chance.
Ive just thrown the ball to the court, lets talk about CLAMP.

I've read part of CardCaptor Sakura (though who hasn't?), all of CCS: Master of the Clow, all of Wish (my favorite of all the Clamp works), Miyuki-chan in Wonderland, all of Chobits, and am working on reading xxxHolic and Tsubasa.
It's kinda weird actually. I've been going through all the shojo on Mangatraders, resulting in my reading all of Tanemura's stuff. But I haven't looked for any Clamp. In fact, I've avoided the Clamp works.

Lovux is not amused. But she has only read Chobits and Magic Knight Rayearth, so perhaps she has no right to speak. Anyhow, of what she's read, she is not too impressed. Both the series mentioned didn't give her much. Chobits had a decent storyline and some interesting themes (Can you love a machine?), but the characters were... just... so... damn... boring. Excluding Chii, ALL, and I mean ALL, characters had exactly the same temper, no one was angrier or happier than another, the way to think and speak and express themselves were all identical. *Homer Simpson voice* BOOORING! Same goes for Magic Knight Rayearth, but that one didn't even have a good plot. Of course, I can sympathyze with that, since it was their first professional work, but still. In general, I'm not interested in any work by CLAMP. Whenever I see a manga cover with their artwork on it or read a review of an anime adaption of one of their works, they just never catch my interest. I am gonna watch Card Captor Sakura someday though, so there's still hope for all you CLAMP fans out there who wants Lovux to approve their work. No, I WILL NOT watch the Chobits anime just because Suwabe Junichi is in there. I like their character designs in Code Geass!

Lulu is a sex bomb. nough said.
Well I liked the ending of Chobits, you know. The facts that she IS a machine and he does still choose to love her, even if they can have sex, even if she just a robot. But, besides that point, I couldnt like it either.
CCS is so sweet and cute, you feel warm and fuzzy,, But I, being an masochist, enjoy the more angsty shonen-aish kind of things.
As I ve previously stated Tokyo Babylon is WONDERFUL. And X too. Those so well developed secondary characters took my heart away. And the Seishirou/Subaru relationship HAS to make ANYONE be it yaoi fan or not, cry and feel the depth of a trgical love. I guess I love both this works characterizations far too much maybe?

I love CLAMP. If it weren't for them, I would have never loved mangas/anime this much. CCSakura was the first anime I really enjoyed watching, cause I'd already seen Sailor Moon and a little bit of Ranma 1/2, but Sakura stole my heart away immediatly. The characters, so deep and magical and unique...everything's so original, different, so CLAMP-ish. It was also the first manga I bought. Maybe that's because Sakura was one of the very few good anime/manga that reached Argentina without internet involved. Not to mention it was dubbed xD. But anyway, I think the way CLAMP breaks with the stereotypes of everything is highly admirable, and their characters are amazingly well built, not to mention the original ideas, the beautiful atmosphere, the gorgeous drawings and the constant turns of the srew.
What can I say? I'm a CLAMP fun to the bone.
I'm also thinking of reading first RG Veda, then Tokyo Babylon, then X and then Tsubasa again. Ah! I'm also planning to read Magic Knight Rayeart, I've only seen the anime when I was very young.
CLAMP is always on my anime/manga fangirly heart, also in my fiction lover heart xD. Have you read Clover....it's incredible. There's no characters like CLAMP's, no story as original as theirs and...the way they can reach my heart immediatly is unbelivable.
Lovux, you should really read another one form CLAMP, the ones you read are not the better ones. You should read CCS, I think you can't live without reading it, and also Clover, and X and...ah...so many things =S. But really, I think you can perfectly enjoy CLAMP as much as we CLAMP fans do. CAuse they're CLAMP. They're genious.
And OH YEAH, LULU ROCKS! *¬*

The only Clamp manga I've read from beginning to the end is MKR, I liked how it was different than the anime (which I've seen at the age of 8) I've also read some Wish and peeked at Kobato and Angelic Layer, didn't interest me that much. X.. I've been meaning to check out for years but I can never find the time.
And I agree about Geass designs

Waitaminute, Lovux now remembered that there's another CLAMP manga she has read. Shirahime Syo, AKA Snow Godess Tales. Very short manga, only one volume consisting of three (four, if you count the framework story) one-shots, all with snow as the centric element. THAT MANGA. Is one of my favourites. EVER. The first one I read in english at will always have a special place in my heart. It's very unlike most mangas I've read. It so poetic, it's the epitome of beautiful. The way the stories are told both warms and breaks your heart, the drawing style is delicate and goes very well with the bittersweet plots. So... beautiful. Beautiful, beautiful, that's all I can say about Shirahime Syo. But that alone is not enough to make Lovux interested in CLAMP's works.
