Well, I don't think there is a thread like this yet. XD;; Besides, I want to get to know you girls (and guys) better.
You can list the reasons for your choices, but it's not necessary.
Anyway, I have MANY favorites, but:
1. Takeshi Kusao/Toshihiko Seki
2. Daisuke Hirakawa/Akira Ishida/Tomokazu Seki
3. Kousuke Toriumi/Sho Hayami
^ My top-3 currently. Yes, there are ties. So what? Anyway, Tomokazu Seki is one uberlovable dork. XD

Hmmm. There's a lot of seiyuus that Lovux likes, but the two on the top are Suwabe Junichi and Ogata Megumi.
Honorary mentions of Canna Nobutoshi, Kotono Mitsuishi, Ishida Akira and Yamada Eiko.

Kenichi Suzumura, Tomokazu Sugita, Toshiyuki Morikawa, Hiroyuki Yoshino, Takahiro Sakurai, Kouki Miyata and Kousuke Toriumi are TOTAL AND UBER WIN. Especially when they perform in a live drama TOGETHER.  I just watched a Saint Beast live drama and SuzuKen actually KICKED Sugita in the shin! XD And before that he poked him in the face! XD And Toriumi kept screaming because his character Shiva was seeing nightmares caused by Kira's (Sugita's character) ability to interfere with peoples' dreams. XDDDDDDDDD Go watch. NAO.Sugita's laugh scares me. Period. PS. Toriumi sounds like Szayel as Shiva. o.o Or should I say that Szayel sounds like Shiva, since Saint Beast came before Bleach? Kenichi Suzumura is ADORABLE. XD And he sounds so CUTE! <3 |

OMG. *dies* I just downloaded a song album by Junichi Suwabe and Kousuke Toriumi. On the cover, they're dressed like gothic visual kei band members! Cover and another picture. What the heck. Toriumi is pretty. o___o;; |

I love Mamoru Miyano. I know that he's probably overrated as a seiyuu, but I can't help it, I've loved him since his Tenimyu days. I don't have a trained seiyuu sense that I can listen to someone's voice and say "hey, it's blah blah" I usually just have that "hey, I know this voice..." feeling, then I check and bang my head against the wall three seconds later

ME TOO~ Dont worry! Mamo-mamo isnt overrated! D: its awesome he released a CD~1. Kusuda Toshiyuki I know he didnt voice a lot of characters... and he's not popular or anything but I think he's great~ sometimes its like everyday is a time for saying something on crack XD there's something about his voice that seems to make my heart skip a beat >/////<2. Namikawa Daisuke After hearing his voice on different types of characters in different shows I was amazed he could actually change his voice pretty well without me easily finding out its him XD although his voice can easily be figured out at some point too XDD3. I'm tied with.... Ishida-sama, Morikubo-san, Naozumi-sama, Mamo-mamo and Kaida-san XDD |

...You should hear Takashi Kondo and Daisuke Hirakawa. They're both AWEEEEEEEESOME. ...Kondo has a mischievously evil quiet little laugh sometimes. <3~
And speaking of Hirarin, he sounds a BIT similar when doing his high-pitched, cute, shy voice and while doing his deep, sexy, evil voice. ...Thing is, it's his tone changes and the difference in pitch that amazes me when it comes to him. He can sound really adorable and shy and pure and innocent with his regular voice, but then have a really deep voice that makes him sound evil (or twisted, perverted and sadistic like in a BL drama).
He actually had two AU versions of his character in one BL drama (Kichiku Megane Hisouchaku Ban), and the evil and sadistic seme version of the character did the shy uke version - it was basically him doing himself. And it sounded amazing. XD

Lovux three lifepartners are as follows:  Ogata Megumi (for being a goddess)  Suwabe Junichi (for voicing him)  Canna Nobutoshi (for changing my life) Seriously. I'd marry any of those in a heartbeat. I Love those three so much. They way they act and make their characters come alive always reach my heart, and their singing voices must be decending from Heaven itself. Long live Ogata-sama, Suwabe-sama and Canna-sama! Some others that have caught Lovux's attention are: Hiyama Nobuyuki (feline and probably the most sensual male voice I have ever heard) Nakai Kazuya (RAW SMEX!) Yukana (versitale and sensual) Kikuko Inoue (sounds like a goddess an angel, and her tough roles are just as lovely) Mitsuishi Kotono (she is Sailor Moon!) Edit: Noticed that I had already written in this thread almost a year ago. Ah well, it's interesting to see how my opnions have changed (or not, lol). |

Kikuko Inoue (sounds like a goddess an angel, and her tough roles are just as lovely) It's said that Sayaka Ohara is her successor when it comes to voicework. :/ "Strong performance skill in voicing many types of characters, with a specialty in the gentle and mature sister characters. Often respected as the successor to Kikuko Inoue."
"English skill is said to be one of the best among seiyūs of the same generation."
And when it comes to tough, guyish voices... Urara Takano is amazing. And can't forget Ai Orikasa - her voice is powerful and impressive, and her singing is extremely beautiful and talented. |
