NEW THREAD!!!
Okay, so I figured we needed a way to keep an eye on what characters are being used in the RPG without having to flick through pages, so I threw them up the top there in a poll. ^.^ Below is the RPG to date. After that, carry on as usual.
Scenario:
A plane crash has stranded various tennis players on an isolated and abandoned resort island.
Krystal:
Fuji looked around, one of the first to recover. He rememered as he took everything in - the crash, the mad escape from the ruined plane, the subsequent backlash of the explosion that had knocked the half of them that had still been conscious into oblivion.
There were people everywhere, all over the sand - some sprawled where they'd fallen, others carefully placed on the ground.
As he turned around, the sigh almost knocked Fuji out again. They had managed to crash on the beach of a resort!
Tessa:
Well, if one had to crash land somewhere, it might as well be a good place, Atobe thought as he looked around, annoyed.
He nodded towards Seigaku's Fuji, who was about ten feet away.
Meli:
Eiji was awoken when the cool ocean water splashed over him making him yelp in suprise. He scrambled away from the water and shivered, ocean water was very cold. He looked around the beach to see his fellow teammates and others lying uncouncious. He than remembered what had happened and paniced.
"Nya!! Oishi!! Where are you?!!" he asked frantically and began to run along the beach to look for Oishi's body to see if he was okay.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Choutaro awoke and sat up and rubbed the exhaustion out of his eyes. He felt a hand on his leg and Shishido laying there knocked out. He remembered the explosion and how Shishido-san had pushed him down so he wouldn't get injured.
A cut on Shishido's back was bleeding freely and had seeped into his shirt and was starting to mix with the sand. Choutaro began to worry and quickly removed his shirt to inspect the wound. It wasn't that bad, but it needed to be treated quickly before it got worse.
Krystal:
Fuji caught Atobe's nod and made his way over to the diva - whose hair was amusingly disheveled.
He nodded back towards the resort. "Nice, isn't it?"
Miruchu:
Saeki groaned as his face kissed the sand. He got up, rubbed the sand out of his eyes and took a good look around. He felt something sticky on the side of his head and touched it. To his horror, it was his own blood. Looking at the sprawled figures on the beach, pieces of debris and being in an unknown place, he began to piece together what had happened after he recieved his orange juice from a flight attendent. They had crashed. Saeki saw Fuji nearby with some Hyoutei guy and started to walk towards them.
Tessa:
"If one must be in a plane crash, at least pick a good location for the crash, right?" Atobe agreed. He reached up to see how his hair was.
It felt out of place. Which he quickly fixed.
Krystal:
Yukimura felt very peaceful. It was almost as though he were lying on the warm sands of a deserted beach, all alone, soaking up the sun, enjoying the peaceful crash of the waves and the touch of wind across his skin.
Except for the pain in his back. No, that wasn't pleasant at all.
Jarred from his pleasant, dream-like state, he opened his eyes, and memory flooded in.
He had to locate his team.
*
Fuji smiled pleasantly at Atobe before turning and walking away. He was already dreading the possibility of being stranded with such a diva for god only knew how long - not to mention the other assortment of froot-loops that had crash landed together.
Well, first things first. He had to make sure not of the fruit loops were cracked.
Meli:
Choutaro looked around to see if any of his other teammates were injured. He saw Fuji and Atobe standing near one another chatting. He quickly picked him his sempai and dashed over to the pair.
"Atobe-san!! Shishido-san is injured! We need to get him some medical care and fast!!" the boy quickly yelled out to his captain.
Krystal:
Fuji heard the call and tried to identify Shishido's position. Once he spotted the wounded player, his eyes widened slightly and he began to work even as he started running. He pulled off his shirt, knowing something would be needed to staunch the blood. Meanwhile, he glanced around, trying to spot any kind of medical equipment. He thought he spotted a kit a little further down the beach, but that could wait until he got to Shishido and figured out just how bad the injury was and what it would need.
Raiden:
Kajimoto woke up on a beach that was completely deserted. He had no recollection of what had happened, but he vaguely remembered something had gone awry with the plane. He looked around and spotted some metal trash around him. As he stood up, he nearly fell due to a fit of dizziness and had to lean against one of the trees. He brought his hand to his temple and discovered that he had a deep gash there. It was still bleeding.
He realized he couldn't get anywhere in his condition. He searched the beach for something that would help him, and managed to find a kit. It had been torn open and half of the medicinal applications inside were drenched, but he used the dry ones to tie off his injury. After that he tried to think of the best way to act and decided to follow the beach. The others had had to crash somewhere on the island, after all.
He had ventured a bit further until he nearly tripped over something half buried in the sand. He nearly jumped out of his skin as that something groaned. He realized he had found someone.
"...Hey, can you hear me? Are you all right?"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Niou had woken up a while ago and right now he was laughing at his weird luck. ...He had found himself up in a tree.
"Did the damn crash throw me up here?" he wondered. As he looked down, he saw Yukimura below the tree.
"Buchou! You have to look up once or twice, you know!" he called down. He grinned at the confused look on Yukimura's face. ...He just knew there were going to be questions.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After waking up Shiraishi found himself lying on top of someone... and the person was beginning to stir. Without a word he bounced up and quickly tied the bandages on his arm. Had he seen it? Had he? ...Oh, doesn't look like it. Good. The person had had his head pounded inside the sand due to the crash and hadn't seen anything. Hopefully.
With a half amused, half self-conscious crooked smile he looked at the person who was just getting up. He looked funny. Really disheveled, and wondering where he was. Nothing was as funny as that, he decided... and burst out laughing.
Krystal:
Yukimura frowned up at Niou. How exactly had the trickster ended up in a tree? And why wasn't he broken?
Oh well. "Niou-kun, can you see anyone else from Rikkaidai from up there? I'd like to make sure we're all okay before dealing with anyone else."
*
Meeting Ohtori half way, Fuji quickly helped him lower Shishido to the ground and wrapped his shirt around the wound.
"Atobe, I thought I saw a medical kit down the beach. Could you...?" He spared the diva a quick glance, realizing the mistake he'd made in almost giving Atobe an order.
Sheenie:
Echizen sat up from the sand, rubbing his eye. His head hurt and his body ached, but he couldn't remember why.
Slowly, he lifted himself up to his feet and began pacing back and forth.
Tessa:
Atobe glared at Fuji. An order? No one dared give Atobe one of those.
At least, not anyone in their right mind.
Meli:
Choutaro gave Fuji a thankfully look. He pulled Shishidp up so his head was resting in his lap. Shishido's pulse was starting to go down and he felt nearly as cold as ice. Choutaro took off his slightly burnt jacket and placed it around his sempai in hopes of warming his body up a little.
Krystal:
Fuji tried another tactic. "Please," he whispered, appealing to Atobe's sense of responsibility. "Shishido is not going to survive unless you help me." He cast an apologetic glance at Ohtoori, but continued on. "Unless you want to get blood under your nails, while I go fetch the medical kit..."
Raiden:
Niou cast a quick glance around his surroundings and really did spot one of their teammates. ...It was Yanagi, floating on a piece of the plane in the ocean. Wasn't too far off.
"Yup. Yanagi, in the ocean. Over there." he pointed in the right direction. Dammit. Where the...
He was spooked a bit as something fell on the branch he was sitting on.
"...Huh? Hiroshi?"
As the limp boy began to fall down, he caught his arm and pulled him up.
"...Great. Injured... how am I gonna get him down from here?"
Just when you needed a ladder... he shook his head and called down.
"Buchou, sorry to ask you, but would it be possible to build a ladder? Yagyuu's up here with me and he's passed out and injured. And I can't really throw him down, either..."
Krystal:
"I'll get right on that... but first I think I should rescue Renji," Yukimura replied, finally spotting the floating body in the distance. Catching Niou's concerned expression, he sighed. "I'm 'fine'. I can handle a little swim."
Stripping off his shirt, Yukimura made his way down to the water and began to wade out. Once he was close enough to be heard, he began to call out to his subordinate.
"Renji! Renji, are you hurt?"
Raiden:
Niou nearly jumped when Yanagi let out a surprised yell and fell off the metal plate. He decided jumping in a tree wasn't the safest thing to do after he nearly slipped off his branch.
"...What on earth was he doing there?" he peered at the data specialist who had just resurfaced. "Hm. Too far, can't see..."
"Masaharu, please tone down. I have a splitting headache."
"YIIIIIIP!" He jumped again. After clutching the branch with both hands, he looked ahead and hissed. "...Hiroshi. Next time you decide to say something, make sure we're not in a freaking tree!"
Yagyuu had passed out again before he finished his sentence.
Tessa:
"Fine," Atobe huffed at Fuji's words. "I'll look for one. Though only because it's for Shishido."
And he walked away, in search of a medical kit.
Meli:
"Ariagatou Atobe-san!" Choutaro called to his captain as he left.
He looked down at Shishido and prayed that he would be okay.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Eiji had been searching for a while but had seen no sign of Oishi.
"Mou!! Where could Oishi be?? I've looked everywhere!" he whined as he bounced along the beachline shore.
Sheenie:
Ryouma plopped back down onto the sand, clutching his head in pain.
Krystal:
Glancing around at the available resources, Fuji caught sight of Echizen. "Ryouma!" he called. "If you're okay, could you give us a hand, here? And then I'll see what I can do for your headache," he said with an encouraging smile. It was time to rally all hands on deck, and someone had to take charge... with any luck, Fuji could convince Atobe to do exactly that... After he was done stabilizing Shishido.
A quick survey of the beach told Fuji he was going to have a lot on his hands.
*
Yukimure had everything under control. He was going to gather his team, and make sure everyone was okay. He was going to lead them all to safety, and THEN he was going to worry about any other survivors.
At least, that was the plan, until he realized that he wasn't actually getting anywhere in the current. He was starting to get dizzy. Actually, he could have sworn he'd felt something rip where his stitches... were... Oops.
That was the last thought he had before unconsciousnesses came to collect him.
Raiden:
"Buchou!?" Niou realized something had happened when Yukimura sank under the water. He looked at Yagyuu beside him and then at the sand below. "Ah, what the hell. I can just come for him later..."
Without another thought he jumped down. The impact hurt a bit, but thankfully his reflexes weren't that bad and he managed to lessen the strain on his legs by bending on one knee as he came down. Nearly instantly after hitting the ground he broke into a run.
Wading into the water, he began to swim to where he had seen Yukimura the last. The current was strong. No wonder he couldn't make it... There were lots of underwater cliffs below him and he saw Yukimura lodged between two. He took a deep breath and dove...
"Dammit!" he realized Yukimura's stitches in his left side had been torn open. He placed his hand over the wound and came back to the surface. He began to swim towards the beach, holding Yukimura by his arms.
"Here, let me give you a hand."
"...Yanagi?"
"You just swim, I'll take him. You're hurt far worse than you think."
"...Aa~?" he didn't want to admit it, but Yanagi was right. He had felt dizzy ever since jumping from that tree.
After they reached the beach, Niou helped Yanagi to get Yukimura away from the salt water and sand. They found a clean patch of grass near the palm trees and Yanagi began to treat his injuries.
"I'll get to building that ladder... buchou wouldn't be really pleased if he heard that Hiroshi had woken up in the tree and fallen down, now would he?"
"That is the most suitable solution, for now." Yanagi agreed.
