[Lovux The Great]

Aaaahh, the music of TeniPuri, it's a world of it's own, isn't it? With all these Best of ----- Players, the character albums and God knows what. Of course, some songs are better than others. So, now Lovux wonders; Which are your favourite songs in the TeniPuriverse?
Here's my list. I don't include the musical songs, because Lovux simply lacks interst in TeniMyu. OH NOEHZ.


Betrayal - The first song I fell for when listening to Atobe-sama's latest album. It has a beat and rythm similar to the next song on my list.

Black Rain - Fuji, Fuji, Fuji. You're the boss. Gosh, sometimes I can't stop listening to this song. Black Rain should always be played really loud in the stereo, that's when it's at it's finest.

Brand New Days - Silver Pair's duet, a classic song that even made it's way into the TeniPuri anime!

Bokutachi no Shippai - Crack, just LOVELY crack. I'm not a big fan of Horio's two buddies, but here, they were just... wow. I'm impressed. Or perhaps in love with Atobe's "Kabaji, Kabajiiii, Ore-sama's... oh!"

Charm Point wa Nakibokuro - Atobe. Singing about his beauty mark/mole. YES, that little black spot under his eye. Could this song possibly be something else than win? About three minutes into this song, oh god. What has our dear Ore-sama smoked? And the Hyoutei regulars singing background vocals. And the "Say A, T, OH, B-E!" was too much for Lovux. She fainted because of too much fangirling.

Cross With You - BUT OF COURSE!!

Driving Myself - My favourite opening in the anime. I think it really caught the shounen and sport theme of the series. Plus, it had the coolest background images in the opening sequence itself. I also love the BGM version that was used for the previews of the next episodes.

E Kimochi - Aaaaw, so cute. (^_______^)

Fly High - Another favourite opening. The intro has a nice Kira Kira-feeling in it, and that's great.

Futari - A soft and peaceful song with only simple clinking on a guitar and Minagawa Junko's perfect vocals.

Gather - What a magnificent song! It sends chills down my spine!

Gin no Ken - NOBODY CAN SING LIKE OSHITARI YUUSHI DOES. The intro's epic. End.

Haru no Ao - Come on, Sakuno's image song is not that bad. Cute, beautiful and addicting, those are the words Lovux'd use to describe it.

Keep Going On - Sanada has a powerful, commanding voice that fits this kind-of-epic song just perfectly. The fukubuchou of Rikkaidai should really stick to these kinds of songs, and not expand to softs songs like Shinkirou or wacky Valentine Kiss.

Koori no Sekai (Ice World) - You can feel the cold of the fearsome Ice World, thank's to the excellent intrumentals and Atobe's always wonderful singing.

Oblivion... - This is my lullaby dammit! I've had one phase in my life where I simply couldn't sleep without listening to it on my portable audio player while laying in my bed. It lasted for two months. Yay, go me.

October - One of Atobe's more classic songs, and a song EVERYBODY should have heard.

Perfect Game - Not only Perfect Game, but rather Perfect Song. Definitely one of -if not THE- best Best of Rival Players songs of all time.

Shinjitsu - Another nearly perfect Best of Rival Players song. I love the remix equally much as I love the original song.

Shoot Down - More Atobe goodness! Kind of "rap"-ish and has some really cool lyrics. "You say everybody needs somebody to love, I say everybody wants somebody to hate". All hail Suwabe Junichi's talent as a singer.

The Ache of My Heart - Yeah, we all know Fuji has the most beautiful voice ever. It's lovely to hear it only accompanied with some piano sounds. I'm kinda weak for soft, peaceful ballads like this song and the already mentioned Futari.

Tonde! Mawatte! Matta Raishuu - Cap to Bin, so much win. When I think of it, if I had to choose only TWO PoT songs to live with for the rest of my life, this would be one of those. I just can't resist goofy songs with melodies and lyrics that get stuck in your head for ages.

Wana ~Wana~ - Anyone has read the translation of the lyrics? They are very... uhm... special. Porn! Porn! PORN PORN PORN!! ...I'd kill to be the girl he's singing about. *mutters*

White Message - Having this song as one of my favourite is actually thanks to my little brother. ;P He was listening to the Winamp playlist and then I suddenly recognized Tezuka's oily voice and a warm song with a Christmas feeling in it. I fell in love immideately.

WILL - Such a sad song. I can litterary SEE Atobe standing all alone in the winter night, with the snow falling around him and tears running down his cheeks... Oh, just let me hug you, dear!

You Got Game - An all-time favourite along with Tonde! Mawatte! Matta Raishuu. So epic. When I first heard it in the ending sequene, I didn't ahve high thoughts of it, but DAMN, it grows on you and get's larger and larger until it reaches Legendary forms. I will love this song forever and ever. Actually, why did I make such a long list anyway? I only need You Got Game? and Tonde! Mawatte! Matta Raishuu, really. Oh well.

Yume no Tsuzuki - YUKIMURAAAAAAA!!!!


Of course, this whole thread is just for Lovux's need for unecessary writing. And to fangirl over Atobe and/or his sexy voice. You all saw this coming, didn't you? Speaking of said Hyoutei captain, just for the fun of it; Count the Atobe songs in my list!

No Tenimyu songs because I'm partially lazy and because the songs always sound better when seeing them sung by pretty actors!

Fujouri- zomg, this song is full of win. Seriously. Anything from the OVA's are amazing. *o* The only voice I can actually identify from this song is Atobe :/

White Line- This song is calm and relaxing and it's fun to sing along.

Crafty(remix)-'cause Oshitari's a crafty boy. Surprisingly, I like the remix better than the original version.

Flower-asdfghjkl;!!!!! This is the best song in the entire Tenipuriverse! It's also one of those songs that is fun to sing along too.

Valentine Kiss - need I to explain? This song is pure win. Atobe wins for being original. Oshitari wins for being smexy with his Kansai accent. Sanada wins for being O.o. Shishido and Oishi win because it's too darn cute. *dies*

I don't really have a favorite. It kind of changes to whatever I feel like listening too.

Grand Slam - because of its retardedness... Kadia Yuki's english was okay, but the lyrics was like basebally and un-tennishy...

Tsubasa Ni Katte - well, its friggin Eiji, cuteness ensures~

Flying Bicycle - ...need i say more? Ryoma and Momo crackness~

Happy Goody - EijixOishi goodness, and it just

Dream Believer - I really like this song but... it makes me think of a beyblade song??? XD i really dont know....

Make you free - Kimeru goodness, what can you say!?!

Wow, let's see...my favorite songs so far:

Koori no Emperor- This song just radiates awesomeness. The attitude and the bravado pulled me in and never let go. Possibly my fav. Tenimyu song EVER!

Milk- XD Do I need to explain? Inui going on and on about the wonderful properties of milk! Poor Kaidoh, he got caught in the crack once again, and Ryoma's "lalala..." just killed me.

Do Your Best- fgsfdsAHHH! This song just makes you want to get up and run, or fight, or something. It's more motivating than the "Eye of the Tiger."

Sorezore no omoi/Yudan sezu ni Ikou- Such a great harmony. It always makes me think of the moment before you take on a huge challenge.

You Got Game?- Driving music! Plain and simple. Nothing like belting this one out while you're alone.

Megane wo hazusu yoru~ Meganes version- OH. MY. GOD. Oshitari's voice is like liquid velvet! It makes you want to swoon. Not to mention, Inui and Tezuka in the background gave me massive lulz with their "wawawawa..."

There's lots more but I'm too lazy to continue. I'll do more later. XP

1) All songs by Cap to Bin. I think Eiji, Taka, and Momo's voices make their songs so lively.
2) Fly High + Sakura. I guess these 2 songs are my favourite opening-ending song combination. Other ending songs that I like are Walk On and White Line.
3) Birthday. Because it is the only birthday song??? Haha... Next time please have a Christmas song.
4) Valentine Kiss. If it is not good, then there won't be so many versions rite??? I hope everyone has a chance to sing. I want to hear Eiji's version! So far, Oishi's version is my favourite.
5) Against Wind. It is my favourite Rival's song. It even makes me like Jirou. Lol
6) Hitomi wo Tojite ..... It is the first Prince of Tennis song I heard. Even before I watched the anime.
7) We love SEIGAKU! I love the ichinen trio's voices.
8) Gather. For a group song, I pick this as the best! Haiz... I am hoping that Seigaku Regulars will have a very nice group song.

I have a few favorites, but it's been a while since I listened to the old Tenipuri songs, so my favorites are mostly the new ones..

Wonderful Days - it was the first Tenipuri song I heard, it was when I didn't really know what Tenipuri was, a friend sent me a clip from that episode where Purutabu to Kan perform it and I remember that my first thought was 'who are these idiots? 0o' But it's a beautiful song, has lots of my favorite characters and makes me feel better. Plus, there are no Seigaku members in it <3

Fujouri - I love the lyrics and the melody is really nice.. This song refreshed my love for Hyoutei

October - I rarely listen to this song, but it's special for me, because my birthday is in October as well, so I can pretend he's singing to me XD;

Koi no Hagedasa Ecstasy - new OVA's opening, not really my type of music, so it must be for Kura and Chitose XD;

Dream Believer - this song was perfect for Anipuri's last opening and the animation was so beautiful.. We named our Tenipuri site after that song.

Flower - this song sounded so fresh when I first heard it <3

First off - Ikiuchi Shirota Yuu and Kazuki Kato singing a duet... Plain and simply, it's fucking sexy.
Do Your Best How could anyone not love this song?
Crystal (It's playing now. ^.^) Especially when they're all crying in DL3
On that note - Yume wo Tsunage: Damn good song, beautiful, emotional, and aaaa, again with the crying.
Aitsu Koso ga Tenisu no Oujisama: This is just a fantastically composed and exciting song.

Yudan Sezou ni Ikkou (When Shirota sing 'arata na' etc I start drooling)

Ore wa Ore no Namaete: Dear god can Kenn sing.
On My Way: (But not in anything past Hyouteimyu and DL3. Why? Cause there's no Kenn. It's SO flat without his upper harmony.Someone, I think Horio, carries it through DL3.)

Shizuka ni Naru Toushi: This is just a DAMN good song and mmm Kimeru.
Dream Maker: I wish I coulda heard Aiba sing this with Shirotan.
Hand in Hand: ^.^ Kime or Aiba, doesn't matter. Good song.

Katsu no wa Hyoutei!: What can I say? It's just fucking awesome! The rap, too! *giggles* What rhymes with Gakuto? Eye contakuto!

Kagami no naka no Ore The lyrics are a little Engrishy, but I really like the melody and god Kazuki Kato has a sexy voice!
Remember Hyoutei Really good melody! I love this song.
Seasons: Random and comes out of nowhere in DL3 but it's awesome.

Victory: Happy, happy, good song.
Shinken Shoubu to wa sou yuu koto: I like this song in all of its manifestations. ^.^

Kiken na Gemu: I loooooooooooove this song. It's my fave from the later musicals.
ROAD: Very nicely done and emotional.
Top of the Stage for the Tennis: What can I say? It's Engrish! But it's still a good song. ^.^ *giggles*
Must Be Strong: This made a fantastic opening to Rikkaidai. Very powerful and catchy.

*giggles* Kira Kira: I hear this song and think of Aiba's sexy dancing and get all sparkly. ^.^

Man. There are others. Suffice it to say I like almost every song there is in Tenimyu, but these are the ones I hear and immediately get all happy and 'mmmm'y about.

I think my all-time favorite TeniPuri song is Flying Bicycle. No doubt about it. I love hearing "Echizen" sing.........*melts*

I only now the songs on the anime because I can't find a place to buy the character Cd's and things.

O.O I rarely listen to anything BUT Japanese music anymore - the majority or it being Tenimyu and Tenipuri.

I was like that for a while, listening almost solely to Japanese music. But, other stuff started creeping in but after I posted that, I decided to dig up some old Tenipuri music and now my MP3 player's about 1/3 Japanese.

Also, Shoot Down. That's the song I've been looking for. Someone want to upload it for me over in the music section? That or, point out where an active link to it is at. Because it's driving me a little crazy not having it.
