To understand the supernatural better! This info was learned from TAPS, The Atlantic Paranormal Society. At least I think that's the name. 
I just know they're the people on Ghost Hunters. Anyway, here are some information on the supernatural to (hopefully) understanding what I RP as better! 
And that's about it! Those will be some supernatural references. The rest that I'll be using is from Chinese/Japanese/American folk tales and mythology.

How many people realized that the above information applies to reality? xDDD Now whenever you find a cold spot in your room, you've found a spirit! If you do an EVP, you might even be able to catch it talking to you.
I just know they're the people on Ghost Hunters. Anyway, here are some information on the supernatural to (hopefully) understanding what I RP as better! 
- Cold Spots : Cold spots are places in the air where it's randomly cold for no reason at all. They are said to be the spirits of people already dead.
- Hot Spots : Like cold spots, they are places in the air where it's randomly hot. However, it is not a spirit of a person. It's a demonic spirit that will probably hurt you.
- Orbs : Orbs of light that can't be seen to the naked eye. Through a camera lens, however, one should be able to see them. Spirits can travel as orbs. They resemble dust orbs in photographs, but unlike dust, they have temperature.
- Shadows : Demonic beings that take form are mostly in the form of shadows.
