Pudding~ Ehh, probably get a better picture tomorrow..or Sunday. xD 'Cause I'm really sleepy and blehhhhhh. And yeah, I made it. From scratch. No mixes. From milk, sugar, water, and eggs. Including the so-called "caramel" at the bottom. :3; The bowl was not made by me. D:

Tapioca and rice pudding are the king and queen of puddings! Fig pudding should be the court jester...XD
Flan is a bit more golden, but that pudding still looks pretty close. Hey, I just had a thought. Golden Pair pudding! What would go in it?

DUDE THAT IS SO SEXY OMG. YOU ROCK SHEENIE.
=DD Hm, it reminds of... that type of pudding that Taiwanese people make. It's made from spoiled milk and some other stuff. =O BUT IT'S GOOD DAMMIT. IT'S GOOD. and sour. yes, very sour.
Can you give me the recipe for the pudding you made? xD

@-@ Sour? Okay, here's the recipe, sort of.. I followed the instructions included in the first volume of Kitchen Princess. It's a really cute manga~ Ingredients: Pudding: 1 3/4 cups of milk 5 tablespoons of sugar 3 eggs A little bit of vanilla <-- Not sure what they mean by this. I used vanilla sugar and it was fine. xD Caramel sauce: 3 tablespoons of sugar 1 tablespoon of water 1.) Put milk on low heat and add sugar. Stir well and when the sugar melts, stop the heat and cool for a minute. Make sure you don't let the milk boil. 2.) Break the eggs in the bowl and stir well. (..And when they say "stir well", they mean STIR WELL. Like, stir so well your arm gets tired..) 3.) Slowly pour the milk from step 1 into the bowl from step 2 and stir. And some vanilla. (Again, stir so well your arm gets tired. ._.) 4.) Pour the mix from step 3 through a strainer. This makes the flan smoother. (It really does..DON'T FORGET THIS STEP.) 5.) Make the caramel sauce in a small pot. Put the water and sugar in the pot and stir quickly over high heat. When it becomes brown, remove from heat and put it into four cups. (You're supposed to use plastic tea cups or something. xD I put it into a glass bowl and it was fine. The caramel will harden a little [so don't worry about it..], but when you steam it, it will turn into liquid.) 6.) Pour the mix from step 4 into the cups over the caramel sauce. 7.) Fill a pot with water and put a steamer above it. When the water starts steaming, stop the heat and put the cups in the steamer. Turn the heat on high again. After 2 or 3 minutes on high heat, lower the heat and steam it for another 13 to 15 minutes. When you put it on low heat, move the lid a little so that some steam can escape. To prevent water from dropping into your flan, put a towel under the lid. (I kind of changed this part because they forgot to mention to put the fire back on and they told you things like, "Please be careful not to burn yourself," which I found was common sense. xD) 8.) Poke a hole in the flan with a toothpick. If juice doesn't come out, it's done. After it cools, put it in the refrigerator. Najika's tip (Najika is the main character in Kitchen Princess): Najika's special flan is made by pouring it into a tea cup. Metal flan cups conduct heat and are harder to manage. Making the flan in plastic is easier and it will come out prettier! Done~ ♥ Top it with whipped cream or fruit and it'll be GOOOD! Again, taken from Kitchen Princess by Natsumi Ando.
