Dude, this manga series pwns. Fosrs.

Okay, so there's this girl called Kyoko. She had this huuge crush on this guy named Shotarou, but he only sees her as a tool or a stepping platform thingy for gaining fame. (He wants to become a super star.) Sho[tarou] asks Kyoko to run away from Kyoto (where they were living) with him. But he only asked her because he knew she would take good care of him while he was still in the shadows during his rise to fame. At one point, Kyoko hears this and gets really really angry at him - so angry that she swears that she'll rise above him in the entertainment business.

Another guy appears, too, named Ren Tsuruga. He plays a huge role in this series, and he is (in Sho's eyes) Sho's enemy.

This story is about how Kyoko, even though she started out in the entertainment business for revenge, learns to love acting from the bottom of her heart.

I totally recommend this series. It is published under Viz Media and is only up to volume 6 in America. Volume 7 is coming out on July 3, 2007, and volume 8 is coming out sometime in September. I think Sept 4? o.o Dunno. I forget the dates. It's a Shojo series.
