Who will be captian?

I haven't finished watching Prince of Tennis yet, so if this was actually said in the manga/anime, please don't spoil the fun for those who haven't >;3

When the 3rd years at Seigaku leave for highschool, who do you think would be made captain of the boy's tennis team? OwO

Momo, Kaidoh, Ryoma, or some random dude (Horio +coughs+ xD) that just suddenly makes it as the captian?! o.o

Let's start the discussion, boys and girls :3

I would say KAIDOH DAMNIT +koffs+ xD
Cos he's cool like that. I can't imagine Momo being a responsible captain, seriously =/ But being fuku-buchou I can imagine him as =D

My dream said Kaidoh would be Captain because he's grumpy and Momo'd be Vice-Captain cos he couldn't let Kaidoh have all the glory. o.o Are my dreams influencial or just logical in some way (I told you about this on YIM, remember? With the alcohols and stickman Jirou)?

lol. it's really all speculation. tezuka might make Momo and Kaido co-captains to get them to stop fighting or something for all we know. ^^;

umm in S&T2, Tezuka made momo captain so yea... but in S&T 3 you got to choose lolz

Ryoma most likely, Momo and Kaido are too rash. Otuside of the obvious "pillar" thing this makes Ryoma the most rational one to be captain.

Ryoma would probably be best suited, but there'd be some disapproval of it, and he might not be the bestest Captain ever. D: There's a difference between being sensible and good at Tennis, and being a good captain. Sort of.

Yes, Ryoma is the most logical person to be captian, since he is obviously Tezuka's favorite boy ;D Can second years be made captian though? It seems rather unfair to the third years that a second year can be made captian though. I will definitely think that way if I was a third year xD

But somehow I can imagine Ryoma forgetting all the club member's names...and when he's planning the matches to determine who's a regular and stuff, he'd be like, "...who's in my club again?" o.o xD

Another reason as to why I think Kaidoh would make a nice captian is that he serves as a nice motivator in the club. LOL XP

Hmm, out of that selection of characters...I'd have to say Ryoma. I agree that being good and sensible at tennis and being a good captain don't go hand in hand, but Ryoma just seems like the most logical choice to succeed Tezuka as buchou. ^^

XD I like Tezu as buchou so I tend not to think about what happens when they graduate...^^

Now actually I wonder who will be captain for the other schools too?? That would be interesting to think about.

Well, for just about every school, after the 9th graders graduate, there will be a ton of new faces since almost all the guys are in 9th grade. In fact, only Fudomine would be left pretty much intact.

As for Seigaku's next captain, I think that Kaido should probably be the next captain with Momo as his vice captain. Momo would go way to easy on the team and I really can't see Ryoma being captain. He probably would forget everyone's names.

Yeah, he may be a little more mature then, but rather than giving people laps it would be like: 'Get me a cheeseburger with fries'. And that would just be... It wouldn't work out too great.

LOL. why does everyone think that momo would be all about food? xD he might make people do the boxing thing as a warm up (in one of the eps he was doing that and i was like "..."). i don't think ryoma would be captain cuz...well...he'd be a 2nd year, wouldn't he? and 2nd years can't be captain. ._. i think even tezuka, in his 2nd year, was vice captain.

...then again i could be wrong. >.>

Even as a third year, I can't see the brat boy as captain. He may be a good player but he just does not strike me as a leader.
