Why, yes, I have seen it.
I watched it in HK theaters and I saw it with subtitles so that was all good. Here's my take and I'm gonna try not spoiling it for everyone.
1. Things were changed.
2. Pirates of the Caribbean 2 ending = Death Note ending
3. The person that did L was very good and made a very memorable impression...unlike the kid that played Light, whom I thought was mediocre, probably due to the fact that Warner screwed with Light a bit (ok, a lot).
4. Overall, I went "BOOOOOOOOOOO" at the end.
If you're a die-hard fan, go ahead and watch. I was bored half-way through the movie though.

Oh lol... there's a copy of it online already? Things happen pretty quickly these days, it seems. =P
Oh, yes... Raito is so messed up. Dude, I personally thought his hair looked messier than Ryuk's. XD And I dunno... his acting is odd. He pratically sighs after each sentence he says... One would've thought he was some damsel in distress. o.0;
L is cool. He was better than I thought it would turn out to be. =)
Me and Teresa ended up singing the theme song at the end... it felt like people are about to throw drinks on us, though. :X (We weren't that bad... honest!)
