Eer... Does anyone know any good Japanese Movie???
I just know Azumi (Aya Ueto). The story is good and the action's good too. I remember another title named... Ashura no Oujo-mi, or something like that... I think it tells about gods and evils (maybe).
But I really want to watch Japanese movie with modern setting (about school-romance, job, etc)!!! Can anyone tell me any good one??? Thanks!

Ooo!! I have lots of movies ... okay a few movies (lol) that I have seen and love XD Rasuberi owns a ton of them.
Ping Pong - This is an awesome movie, with one of the best heroes of all time!! ^__^ I'm not sure what category it falls under... but there's a blossoming -friendship- between the main character and his best friend. ^__^ they are both oh-so-cute.
Water Boys - another great one: boys to syncronized swimming!! It has comedy, drama, excitment XD I love it!
Battle Royale - blood, action, blood, death, lots more death. ^__^;; This one is a classic, but it's much better the second time. (lol) It's amazing how they develop each character in like 10 minutes. ... Then kill him.
Taboo - okay, maybe it's not the greatest movie ever. It's shinsengumi and passionate homosexuality (lol). Well... the back of the dvd was hilarious, anyways. Action/Drama?
Onmyouji - yay for supernatural!! Onmyouji's are COOL - and there's some great read-between-the-lines nudging between the two main characters. (lol, yeah, that's all I seem to look for in these movies) ^^;;; But it's a lot of fun. Some of our friends really didn't like it, though. There's also the sequal, Onmyouji 2.
... and that may be every Japanese movie I've ever seen... ^^;;;;

Man... the only one's I've seen with a modern setting are Ping Pong, Water Boys, and Battle Royale... Wait! I've seen some Japanese horror movies! Audition and Suicide Club (Jusatsu Sa-kuru). Those aren't really romantic... They're downright freaky.  Oh! Cutie Honey! It was silly, but I thought it was also a really cute movie. And I have Swing Girls, but I haven't watched it yet. I hope someone else can suggest some, because I want to watch them too!  |

I don't hate horror movies, but I can never understand the story of horror movies because I'll always hide behind my lovely pillow when I hear weird sound or something's appearing XD
Oh, there're really many movies I haven't see T_T Oh, I've just watched Ju-On, which made me scared all the night, and I don't even dare to hide inside my blanket!!! (Does anyone watched this scene? When someone hide in her blanket, the ghost appears inside her blanket and that makes me really... SCARED!!!)

I've seen it. and the original version of The Ring and several other stuff. Korean and Japanese horror movies are all...pretty good. XD Compared to American ones anyway. =P But then again all horror movies are cheesy. >.> But scariness factor...Japan tops them all. XD Chinese horror films are so stupid it's funny. >.> |

Oo... Chinese Horror... I've seen '10 ways to see ghost'. It's Chinese I think. It's not scary at all, it's REALLY FUNNY!!!
