Let's see.
1. He comes out of nowhere and is the vital person in the story who can never be beaten, not even at doubles, which he absolutely SUCKS at. And that doubles match was a joke anyways.
*2. He's a Gary-Stu, basically.
3. He's annoying.
*4. His outraegous fangirls think he's the greatest thing to ever have graced the Earth, which technically, he hasn't. And the more they shove this in my face, the more and more I dislike him.
*5. He beats everyone, even those who are technically better than him. Tezu-toast, Atobe, Sanada, Akutsu
*6. Everyone in Tenipuri fawns all over him like he's such a wonder-child when in reality, he's a snarky, self-obsessed brat.
7. He's the youngest main character telling older people they've got more to learn. Yeah, maybe in tennis. But for other things...
*8. There are so many fanfics that feature him with a long-lost cousin, twin, sister, fiancee, girl-friend, etc. that it just overwhelms and sickens me.
*9. He's a little kid who's trying to act like he's the God of the World.
10. He's everything in a guy that you should avoid.

I was right. That DID hurt even me. Awww, come now. He's not the onyl one. Have you seen what fangirls do to Sasuke in Mary Sue fics? *shudders* It's much worse. Yeah, he's a Gary Stu, but not without his flaws - although those are mostly cutened up. But if he didn't always win, he would BE the main character. There's always gotta be one. Ichigo, Naruto, (Sasuke), hell even Yugi. And at least he listens to Tezuka and Fuji, it's not like he doesn't obey any kind of authority. Oh, and he hasn't - yet - beaten Nan-ji. XD (Or technically Tezuka since that only happened in the anime. And Akutsu isn't really better than him.) |

*nods to 5*, he beats way too many people. Atobe, Akutsu, Shinji, Yuuta and even Sanada. What worries me is that Ryoma will beat Yukimura. ;_;

I was hoping like hell that it would be Yuki vs Fuji. I had it all worked out. Doubles two would be won. They'd play singles two and Fuji'd win, and then the Golden pair would win and they'd never get to singles one, thus giving Ryouma time to recover from ihs amnesia before finishing the manga up in a series of unofficial matches to pacify the Ryouma fans.

^ Me, too. ...But I have to say that I liked the last episode with the Ryoma/Tezuka match... but only for one reason. The brat actually displayed some emotion and I liked the way he thanked everyone for what they'd done for him. Kind of softened my attitude, even though I still don't like him.
...Ryoga would have made a better main character than Ryoma. ^___^ The brat's bro is actually very interesting...

Well...I´ve previously stated a lot of things that in my point of view explain his actitude...
Fair enough anyway, everyone has his/her opinions and it´s kind of fun hearing them...
He does respect people! And he does have emotions!
(If talking about not expresing emotions Tezuka should be the subject)
Anyways, what has suprized me is my complete lack of emotions towars Shitenhouji...I didn´t like Higa but...I just don´t really care about them...
Even if Kintarou IS annoying as hell when he screams he makes me laugh once in a while...
What do you girls think about them?
