^__^; By popular demand! (lol)
Let's see.. the 'must play' games are definitely Final Fantasy 7, Final Fantasy 8, and Final Fantasy 9. I haven't played that many rpgs altogether, but those three have SO much replay value. ^__^ I also really enjoyed Kingdom Hearts. <3

Kingdom Hearts!!! I was just playing that today. =D Hmm, let's see well apart from the FF series, I love the Castlevania series. I managed to get a lot of the roms for the older games (only thing is that they're in japanese, but you can still figure out what you need to do, since only 20% is really story based).
Hmm, let's see, Castlevania: Lament of Innocence on the PS2 wasn't too bad actually (still playing it), but my favorite would probably be "Minuet of Dawn" ("Aria of Sorrow" here in the US), but PS2 Castlevania has better graphics (and of course music too). The PS2 version is especially dark and very vampire-ish, but the graphics in the PS2 version make it that way. =D (Each game is basically about saving a loved one from the evil clutches of vampire, and off you venture into his castle, or rather more like a maze). ^__^
Most of the (former Squaresoft) Square-Enix games are good. I also liked "Threads of Fate". I thought that was the cutest game ever. Hopefully I'll be able to get my hands on Magna Carta or Radiata Stories for Christmas...XD those seem reasonably good. =D

You like Chrono Cross....=D I think that'll keep you occupied for a while. (I have yet to try and see all the characters I can get for my party. But at the end I had so many...@__@ I just stuck with my usual party of three). I wonder how far you are...it's so much fun. I haven't played it in a while. I liked some of the music in that actually, but that's another topic, ne? ^^: Ooh Dragon Quest. I really want to try to play that one too...^^ but time...where's the time going to come from? ^^: Although I could have sworn I saw a DQ rom on my comp for one of the really older DQs...

Suikoden had too many characters. =_=;;; So does Valkyrie Profile. >.> i cannot remember characters for games that have more than 10. period. >.>

heh heh talk about it. the standard 6 or 8 is good enough for me. Even 8 is a bit much though (I was playing Star Ocean...and someone rejoined my party...completely forgot who he was...^^ then again I never used him too much. Too much of a pain to take time to level him up 20+ levels). But I kind of want to try playing Suikoden. =D

yeah, that's what's bad about too many characters. when they join you, their levels are really weak. but i don't think that was the case with the FF games. >.> i remember getting Vincent near the end of disk 3 and Cloud was at lvl 92, Tifa 90, and Yuffie 90. and then when i got Vincent, he was like...89 or something. so i was like "yay. don't need to level like crazy. x.x" Suikoden is a fun game. But seriously, you loose track of the characters after a while.

Hm.... still working on Chrono Cross ^^;;; I'm not sure how far I am in it, I just got a boat! =D

-___- tsk tsk....i had to figure it all out on my own (the best way to play a game), and then when I finished and wanted to look for a few extras like everyone's final limit break, i used online help. However, for Star Ocean III I had some problem areas, or I was just too lazy to wander about a cave to find numbers and hints to find a particular code (after one try), and just used online help. Used it probably about 3 times in that game...I felt so stupid playing it though, cause sometimes it would be REALLY easy. ^^: But the thing I had problems with and couldn't figure out that made me feel really silly was in FFVIII when you get stuck in the elevator, and you have to get the bottom levels of Balamb Garden. I couldn't figure out why I couldn't get out of the elevator. Probably tried it 10 times, restarted 10 times, and tried once more 10 times (was so obsessed about it i didn't go to sleep until like 4 am and that was in 7th grade i think). To make matters worse, 1) I had the strategy guide (and got mad since it tell me button by button what to do) and 2) It was really simple, I just had to align Squall correctly and press X T_____T Yes my childhood stupidity....^^: All that took me a week to figure out. =P

lol, I got stuck in FFVIII because on this one screen, because of the graphics, I just COULDN'T see the pathway. >.< I just couldn't tell that if you went up there was an exit there! It really sucked, I was stuck there for a long time and the strategy guide didn't help because it told me to go on a pathway I couldn't see even existed.
