*contented sigh* =^__^= Juuni Kokki (the Twelve Kingdoms) is such an amazing anime... I own all of it on dvd. Media Blasters licensed and released it, and they did a really good job, they put a lot of episodes on each dvd and all. They released a boxset too: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000A2XA5A/ref=pd_bxgy_text_b/002-1489484-6072050?%5Fencoding=UTF8&v=glance&n=130^^; You can always download the fansubs online somewhere too. Originally the Twelve Kingdoms is a series of novels, and they only animated 4 of them and made some minor changes... or major changes? This is the Twelve Kingdoms Project page, they actually translated one of the novels <3 and completed the fansubs after JK got licensed. I would be so happy is all the novels were released in the US, I would buy and read all of them! 12ktp.inspirelight.net/Anyways, you must must must see it ~.~ It'll change your life.

Hohoho, they made major changes in the anime! Yuka and Asato weren't even in the books!
*sigh* I also really love the anime. Even though it's slow. And repetitive. It's still really wonderful! I really want to know what happens with Tai! Hopefully they'll translate all the novels someday! That would be awesome! I bet they're really awesome fantasy books.

I dunno... I listened to a lot of manga panels last Anime Expo, and all the companies were really interested in releasing translated novels---If they were going to be profitable. That's what it boils down to. If they sell, they'll make more. And there are quite a few novels in the works, actually. Someone could petition...
But the other thing is... I don't want to read it if it's a bad translation. u___u
