I just found two anime/manga-centered shops in Helsinki, and they were only about 500 meters apart, one of them (Blippo) three stores above the bus station. X3

The other store, Fantasiapelit (aka Fantasy Games), had nearly every manga I've ever heard of! In English!

It had 26 volumes of Prince of Tennis, 22 volumes of Bleach, many of Saiyuki & Saiyuki Reload, Naruto, La Corda D'Oro, Inuyasha, Ranma 1/2, The Tarot Cafe, Ragnarok, DNAngel, Death Note, D.Gray-man... and SAINT SEIYA AKA KNIGHTS OF THE ZODIAC. I FOUND SAINT SEIYA IN FINLAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *goes absolutely and FLIPPIN' CRAZY!* NYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!

Oh, and my Mom gave me money as an early birthday present. Used them to buy the whole anime of Slayers as a collector's box. X3 The shop also had the whole Cowboy Bebop anime in two boxes, and all volumes of DNAngel's anime. o.o

The other shop, Blippo, sold other merchandise. Like bags, pins, wallscrolls, pencil cases, keychains, figures and stuff. And music CDs from Japanese artists such as Ayumi Hamasaki, BoA and W-inds. Oh, forgot. Their online shop also has CDs of Gackt, Arashi, Orange Range, Do As Infinity, Utada Hikaru, Kat-Tun, Kinki Kids, V6, Tackey & Tsubasa... and NewS. X3 (I think I'll be ordering that one day.)

From that shop I bought, with my own money (meaning = not birthday), a canvas wallscroll of DNAngel's Krad and a figure of Urahara from Bleach. X3 It was the only Urahara figure left. X333

There were also multiple (even too many) Gundam SEED and Gundam SEED Destiny wallscrolls, some of Fushigi Yuugi's Hotohori, some of Fruits Basket, some of Bleach, some of other Gundam series, some of Fate/Stay Night, some of Hikaru no Go, some of DNAngel's Dark with Risa and the other girl (forgot her name), some of Naruto... and other animes, too (forgot them). Cool, huh?

Now I know where I'll go next time I get some money... X3 (If I manage to save about 60 euros, I'll go buy the first part of Cowboy Bebop. If I manage to save 120, I'll get both parts. And if I someday get even more, I'll wait until the whole Saiyuki Reload anime has appeared in that Fantasiapelit-shop, and buy every volume. Oh, and probably DNAngel and Final Fantasy: Unlimited, too. And if I find Fushigi Yuugi somewhere, then that as well. XP

Awesome shit

Lovux can buy a few manga series in the neighbour town, but for the DVDs, she has to go busriding for either 1,5 hours or 2,5 hours, depending on if she wants swedish DVDs or english ones.
Merchandise? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. It doesn't exist here.

Which is really sad.

Come visit Finland one day. You'll get the merchandise easily from Blippo. (I don't think a boat cruise to Helsinki would cost that much money... and besides, there's always Korkeasaari aka Högholmen. It's a zoo... and at one point you can see dwarf mongooses. You know, I can 'talk' to them. XP I can imitate the sounds they make and they always answer me. Oh, they even have sloths there. XP)

Oh, Blippo's online store. I don't have any idea if they ship their merchandise to other countries, but if they do, you could try this one.

...The Krad wallscroll fits my wall perfectly! ...And even my Mom liked it! O.O

...Whee, went out today with my parents. Crappy restaurant. Apparently Turkish and I was the only one who had a nice-tasting meal. >.> (Curry chicken. My Dad had a rosé steak, and my Mom had an awful-tasting pasta dish. Was supposed to have gorgonzola in it, but there was no trace of it in there...)

Random: my fingers are apparently frozen! They're stiff and it's hard for me to write! XD

I bought a Saiyuki Reload canvas wallscroll a while ago. I haven't put it on my wall yet, though.

I can't wait to see my friends' faces when they see the wallscroll. It will be fun explaining the anime and the characters to them. XD
