Eh... hi! I'm Wizzel, a German law student who recently got into PoT after having been in a rather bad accident that left me incapable to do anything but lounge around and watch TV/movies/anything on my notebook. I normally love sports, reading, doing Photoshop work and music (I play two (or three, if you count the viola) instruments and sing in a choir)... otherwise, I'm a bit dull, I guess. I study a lot and prefer to not get drunk every weekend (fav pastime of my fellow students)- instead, I'd rather watch anime!
The manga has been out here for a few months now, and it's just getting good, however, since I'm the impatient sort I started to search the web for info/anime episodes of PoT and found a wealth of stuff! Yuppieh! I'm definitely hooked now, and will hopefully be around for a while.
I'll try my best to participate in discussions, but I'm typing one-handedly atm since my left is still in a cast (it WAS a nasty accident!)... therefore, I might take a bit of time to answer.
NEway, I really enjoy this board and hope to stay around for quite a while!
Hugs, Wiz

*g* The one good thing about being temporary invalid is the wealth of time that's suddenly available! And once you're out of the hospital (no internet there, only *shudder* German daytime TV) it almost never gets boring!
Thanks for the warm welcome!!! *huggles everyone*

Um, hi! I hope you get better soon!
Oh, wow, that's a lot of stuff! Not at all dull! Unlike me where all I pretty much do is watch anime/read manga, and try to write a good story for once. -__-;;
Erm, anyway, welcome and hope you have fun!

ladyeblack: You write stories? Whee, have to go read them! I'm pretty much restricted to watching TV and doing stuff with as little wrist action as possible for another two months, so if you could point me in the right direction...? *g* I'm always on the lookout for new stuff to read- and it's great fun here! <-- needs to stop typing as Mum-in-nursemode (HELP!!!) is on the warpath, armed with the BANDAGES OF DOOM (TM)

Heh, finally made myself an icon. Unfortunately, with my movements so restricted I'm confined to using actions even for base preparation (PS nuts, shudder with dread!)... therefore, only the most base of thingies... If anyone likes, though, I can make those with almost any screenshot- takes a few clicks, is all

wizzel: Um, yeah, I write...-blush- Um, I haven't written any TeniPuri yet, though. I don't feel like I know the characters well enough yet to even begin really writing a fic about them. And, well, I don't really think my writing is that great, I tend to stick to dialogue a bit too much... -giggle- I know what you mean about 'Mum-in-nursemode'. I'm the youngest child in my famliy. My mom has been having 'empty nest syndrome' symptoms since I started college last year...

Ah XD I'm the youngest too.. but now my sister's moved back home. ^^;; (my parents are rather unhappy about that, actually...but for various reasons) But there was a year or two that my mom was pretty much home by herself, since my dad works all day... we worried that something would happen and no one would be at home to help her. ^__^;;; Oh, but your parents always say that they miss you (but then you find out they're secretely celebrating getting the house back to themselves ^^;;; lol.

tell that to my Mom... I'm the oldest of three, my youngest brother starts studying this October and is in the process of moving out. She was going into hysterics at the prospect of NOT having any of her kids around (I live around 500 miles/760 kilometers away, my other brother a good 400km/150 miles) and started planning round trips that would take her all over Germany! Now that I'm back she's clingy, to say the least. Hehe, managed to talk the docs down from a "sticky bandage" (the stuff that hardens in the air and has to be cut off- not plaster though) to a regular supporting one, meaning I have almost full use of my right hand. Left hand's still going to be in a cast for three more weeks, so no drawing and writing only with the chicken scratch that is my right-handed handwriting. It's a relief to be able to cut my own stuff at mealtimes, though! Never thought I'd miss that! (but then, nobody expects to be run over by 160 kg of stupid male on a mountainbike...)

Same here wizzle, amost, im the oldest of three too. Also, that welcome to the tenipuri forums and i hope your left hand gets better. Wow, that must of hurt though. Im glad it wasn't worse though. To tell you the truth, i got run over by a car 1 year ago. But also, its nice of meet you Wizzel. Also you draw and write stories?, that's cool! I wish i could draw but i write stories. i like to write stories but i get discouraged by people that read them before saying that they suck and stuff. But i still write them, i want to become a Writer or Novelist one day.

Hi ootoori! Nice to meet you Drawing? Me? Waaah, no, that doesn't work at all... I have the artistic sense of a three year-old when given anything to draw. I do graphics work on the comp though; animations, icons, avatar stuff... Writing is more my thing, but I haven't dabbled in fanfiction yet. I'm wary of not knowing characters like my own... silly, I know. Don't be discouraged by criticism- write on! I've no ambition of ever being published and write mostly as little "extra" presents for my family, but I think trying to be a novelist is a very worthy and great goal! Go for it!!! Run over by a car? Oh my gosh! Sounds bad... that stupid biker guy managed to make me shatter my left wrist almost beyond repair (one bone is completely destroyed and is in the process of being reconstructed), break both ulna and radius in the right arm, dislocate my left kneecap and break my right toe (oy, that HURTS! Brothers thought it was funny... 'cause it was almost an afterthought for the docs. "Oh, we forgot something... there's another thing broken, but don't worry, it's just a toe...")... all because there was a gap, gravel, a sidewalk border and road construction. Meh. Any bike owners better stay faaaaaar away from me for a while! *g* At least I got to look like a bad caricature of an accident victim ;D

Is it hard to do graphing stuff?
Alrighty, i'll be writing. You've inspired me. Also, don't worry about the character thing, i have problem with it too like with physical description and personality, and the most hardest part for me, names. Im glad you write too, you rock!

yoshikochan: OMG!! My brother just moved back in! And my sister lives five minutes away from where I am...and my one grandmother lives 15 minutes away...thank god my other grandmother (shudder) is in New Jersey...which is only 2 and 1/2 hours away...geez, I'm so moving to Japan to get away from those crazy people... Heh, when they left me at the dorm, my mom tried to drag me with her by my ponytail...and then she squished me whenever I came back on breaks throughout the year...-_-;; wizzel: If you read what I wrote to yoshikochan, my family all lives pretty close together; Pennsylvania(where I, my siblings, and my one grandmother live), New Jersey(my other grandmother), and New York(assorted family members on my dad's side) are all pretty close together...lucky me...-__-;; I am in the process of making plans to run away to either Japan or Germany. How far do you think one semester of German will get me?
