CinePuri was fail..seriously.. There were some moments though. I didn't like Hongo Kanata, the guy that played Ryouma. >->

lolz the movie was like totally fail, it went WAY WAY WAY too fast, and it really didn't focus on anyone other than ryoma, like in the series, i mena i know they has screen times to fit in but SERIOUSLY!!! The effects were like worse than the boat movie!!!! And the boat movie was one CRACK! (or ahem, Pot? XD)

.. that guy who's supposed to play Oshitari is disturbing me quite a bit at the moment.
As for CinePuri, I got through about half the movie and.. eh, I didn't wanna finish it. Hongo Kanata was okay; loved the guy who played Nanjiroh though. xD

I saw part of the reality show that they got the cast from and yes I have very little faith in this production but on the bright side I don't think it could be worse than CinePuri because that was just .... ugh rather painful for a PoT fan. This drama looks like it will be a series instead of a rushed and compressed 2 hour movie so it should be somewhat interesting. Sadly I understand even less Chinese than I do Japanese.
Well I don't think it could be any worse that what 20th Century Fox is planning. I read on Anime News Network that they are about to begin filming a live-action movie adaptation of Dragonball Z in Montreal.

The DBZ movie has been in planning for years. Monster, Sailor Moon, Full Metal Alchemist, Evangelion are all slated for the big screen. It's just a matter of when.
Chinese dramas are just......oh. SO. bad. Sorry, but they just are. This one is gonna fall in the "worst thing ever produced from China" range. You can just tell by the actors...>.>

Aiba sure is too tall for Fuji... But he looks bishie enough. And Shirota (Tezuka) is REALLY tall, so Aiba's height is redeemed. BUT HYOUTEI FAILED MISERABLY AND COMPLETELY. Oshitari was hardly taller than Gakuto. Atobe was UGLY. No. Way. |
