Just joined. I recall reading that innactive accounts are looked down on (or possibly deleted outright), so I probably won't last long here. I like to join forums, but I get distracted within a few days and default to lurking before forgetting the site's existence altogether. I blame my very short attention span and excessive multi-tasking.

I love PoT, though. I'm a very big anime fan and Prince of Tennis is one of my recurring favorites. I have the series, most of the manga, the movie, Atobe's special, and the music video. There are a few things about the series that I'm still hoping to learn, so I'll be searching back-posts here in hopes of finding them. For instance, a translation of what Kabaji says to Atobe in the special, and what his reply is - my Japanese isn't that good.

I write fanfiction, do fanart, and make amvs. For PoT I'm currently working on at least one long HP crossover fic, mostly crack pairings and sarcasm, but fun. Everything I do with anime ends up yaoi or shounen ai or humor, but I can manage character profiles when it comes to amvs.

My favorite characters are Shinji and Fuji, followed by Yukimura, Kirihara, Jirou, and Eiji. I actually came by this forum when I was looking for one of Fuji's songs. I found it elsewhere and was disappointed to learn he sang it in English...sort of took the fun out altogether, definitely not something I'd make a vid with. My favorite voice actors (as singers) are Shinji's and Kamio's, though I still like Fuji's speaking voice best.

Um...yeah, that's about it. Too bad this forum doesn't have a section for amvs. There aren't nearly enough PoT vids, considering all the characters ripe for vidding.

I bounce fandoms a lot, but I rediscovered PoT a while back. A friend mailed me the rest of the series so I'd make her some vids and I fell for it all over again. This time around I like all sorts of characters instead of just being a Seigaku-fangirl. I never realized it was such a big anime fandom. ^_^;

I miss the GW fandom. I was really active back then, but I lost my computer for half a year and when I came back all my favorite lists had gone and changed the rules on me so I had to stop posting updates. Gmen...heh, I made a music video for that, but I still haven't finished it. It got to the point where I didn't know if I wanted to kill it and start a sequel, or let it branch off into a new story-arc. Monster fic. My first multi-chapter fic ever. I keep doing sidefics to it (different characters) instead of working on it. I'd love to write a fic with PoT characters in that world. I can already imagine what 'powers' Fuji and the tensai's would have. ^_^;;

I have enought trouble with the PoT boys being mythics as I have a friend writing [glow=purple,2,300]mythic brotherhood [/glow]and I have keep both her website and LJ updated.

Tezuka as a Dragon is interesting as is Fuji being a powerful human.

Ah! I've read that one on ffnet. It's very tough getting in, but I think that's because it sticks with the PoT storyline while making the world an 'alternate universe' at the same time. I like the pairings and the magic, but I think the PoT games are holding it back. That could be me skimming some of the matches, though. I'm a bad reader with that fic - I just look for my favorite characters instead of grasping the story as a whole. ^_^;

I know it took me a while. Yeah skinning is not good for that fic ... some of the matches have extra's in them, so give it another try.

Hee, it's my favorite avatar because it's rare. It's from Kurama's official music video that plays on the ova dvd for Kurama and Yusuke. There used to be a site that distributed a wmv copy of the vid, but it's down now. You can buy the Japanese dvd here:

It's kinda expensive, no subtitles, and it's Region 2, but that's the only place I've seen the music videos for sale. They have Hiei and Kuwabara's there, too.

I'll post a lot at first - I like forums. I just don't have a good record with them. ^_^; Which reminds me, what's the policy on necroposting here? There aren't a lot of threads in some of the sections...is it okay to post on old threads, or is it better to start new ones?

Lol, yay, lots of Mythic Brotherhood fans!! I finally caught up on it today XD *took like a month break* ^__^;; still need to catch up on the side stories. Tora does such a brilliant job weaving the plot into the anime! But yeah ^__^;;; (I slide through the matches a bit too >.>;; though sometimes I just skip some of the description part ^__^;;; I love it when it gets back to the main plot, or when the main plot fits in perfectly with the anime <3
