So who here has tried to write Oshitari as a main character?
*raises hand and points to Concerto*
I've been bitching about this to Y-chan for the last half hour or so. He's a BITCH of a character when you really give him some air time. So I don't have to repeat myself....

Ilese L3 (11:46:03 AM): And yeah. The two of them together are making this fic really hard to control. It's mainly Oshitari's fault, I think, and he threw Tezuka OOC and now Tezuka's still OOC and Atobe's goign in and out of character and I have no idea if Oshitari's right at all. @_@

LyanaDamar (11:51:23 AM): this is not an official thing, but generally in fanfiction he is depicted as not as 'people friendly' as say, Fuji or Yukimura (how smooth they are with people) - he has a very sexy manner, rather than friendly or welcoming

I can see why he's gotten that kinda finfic rep, but I can also see elements in him that suggest otherwise. He could be a total people person if he wanted to. >.< He's so much more difficult than Fuji1

LyanaDamar (12:04:09 PM): That is, Fuji just sort of does what he feels like doing (which typically works nicely for him, except for in the case of very close relationships - which is a canon thing if you think about Yuuta)

Ilese L3 (12:10:57 PM): I need to manipulate it so that Oshitari's control is a subtle thing, allowing Tezuka to be himself.

Actually, Yuki's not all that nice when it comes to tennis. At least, he's strong and he doesn't mind bragging about it.
Ilese L3 (12:13:45 PM): I know, but that's when it comes to tennis. Otherwise, there's no reason to see him as anythign but a sweet and delicate flower, which is the charm of his character int he manga, but that's no fun when it comes to fanfiction.
LyanaDamar (12:14:13 PM): Tezuka is uke once in awhile. XD FujiTezu has a popular aspect to it (by considering Fuji as an aggressive sadist, which is ... sort of canon but not really. It bothers me because Fuji is a very laid back guy, even when he's angry he's not THAT aggressive.) And SanaTezu is quite canon.
