Hello all, I have been wondering a little about the golden pair. I mean what is your take on the famous pair. Love it/Hate it/Couldn't give a dame While I was stuck the plane for oh 9 hours I end up doing some random writing in my mini-laptop and somehow it end up being about the golden pair. I will be the first to admit that I never did see the appeal of the pair. I mean it was obvious and I don't know the two just doesn't appeal to me as much as Fuji, Atobe, Yukimura and etc. Nonetheless, I want to see the appeal of the famous Golden pair so I wrote a short one shot for them. I was going to post the one shot here but I thought maybe fanfiction.net would be a better place for it. It will probably be up in a day or two. But yeah 2nd question: Do all double pair automatically get match up? I mean there are the golden pair, silver pair, dirty pair, platu. pair and umm Kamio-Ibu pair [do they have a name???] okay, I will stop ranting now and wow I must be bored out of my mind for this mini-rant. Denite  ps sorry if this post didn't belong here. I thought since it was fanfiction it would be the right place to post. ok, I am shutting up now  |

Okay, I know when I first learned about PoT, I fell in love with Golden Pair. They were my OTP, and still are for Seigaku.
I really liked what I saw and thought the two complimented each other. Plus, Eiji was soo cute and Oishi had those killer eyes.
And, most doubles pairs usually do get matched up. And even pairs that don't get matched up have pair names.

I have been wondering for a while, what exactly does OTP stand for? I know what it implied but I just don't know what it means.
I think the reason that I never like the golden pair was because they were just so predicable .. like it was so obvious that the two have something going on. oh and they just seem too happy and perfect which I seriously don't like.
LoL maybe I just have a thing against happy couples and I admit I have never read any GP fanfiction before.

Have you ever read Suteishichic's Learning to Fall? You have to love Golden Pair after that! No really, Golden Pair is really the first canon pairing in Tenipuri, if you ask me.
I'm mean, they're lovey dovey-ness is SO obvious in the series, it's even admitted to in Dream Live 1st. XD
Hmm when I first got into Tenipuri, Golden Pair was my number one OTP, along with TezuFuji. But the first fic I wrote was Golden Pair, cause they're just so cute, and so very canon.
I think it is true that all doubles pairs are automatically canon. It's that whole trust-touch thing they have >.>; you can't NOT see the relationship between doubles pairs, especially the close ones like Golden Pair and Silver Pair.
But right now I'm not really that into Golden Pair, I will admit. I only read Fui-centric fics, like TezuFuji and AtoFuji (currently my favorite pairings) and TezuFujiRyo (I went through a huge FujiRyo phaze) and the occassional OT5. >.>;; Oh man, my Fuji obsession showed its colors today... well I'll share about that later when I have a camera. ^^;; ....
But I guess Golden Pair is just so CLASSIC. XD I mean, especially after OVA ep 5 (I think it's 5) with all the totally canon angst, how can they not be a pair? XD And they have matching gold rings in an official promo video! I mean wtf! XD *loves it*

I'm not sure if every doubles pair is together. There are a few like Rikkai's Jackal and Marui who, well, border the line and could go either way.

I am a huge Fuji shipper myself but I am also one of those stubborn people who doesn't see the appeal of GP. LoL I try and actually wrote an one shot GP fiction but delete it. I mean ugh I read it and I don't believe in the writing. Hah, I don't know GP just doesn't seem like a pair to me in a strange light. I think I could see Eiji being paired up with a lot of people but it is kind of hard to pair Oishi up for some reason. oh well, my first OTP will always be AtobeFuji. Denite |

I'm usually an alternate pairings girl, but I simply can not separate those two. Ask Y-chan. Every time I've tried they just get back together. It's ridiculous.
