The "Heil" salute? ...It wasn't exactly similar. The arm was stretched out palm towards the ground. (My Mom's history teacher tended to impersonate the historical figures he was telling his class about. When he played Hitler, he stood on the table, put his fingers under his nose as a moustache, raised his arm in the salute and YELLED out his teaching lines like Hitler. XD When he was Napoleon, he stood on the table again, put his hand inside his jacket and began to talk.)

that's ATOBE THE KING's salute...and it's much cooler and extremly sexier.
Any similarity with reality is just a coincidence.
Besides...Atobe is not a demagogue leader...he doesn't convince masses by giving they what they need. He just KNOWS masses must respect him because he's GREAT. And if someone doesn't, a shame on him....

:O I think it's just like, some 'favorite' episodes ~ there's another fan disk for earlier eps, but I don't like the ones they chose. It was like, New Years special and filler type eps. They need a just-chibi-episodes dvd >D
