When entering the PoT fandom, especially fanfiction, certain pairs get certain names like Tango pair or Dirty pair and so on. Where did fans come up with the pairings names? And why exactly?  Did I miss something along the arcs? |

All I know is that the Tango pair (Atobe/Sanada) comes from their move Tango to Destruction.

Ah, okay. So the names have something to do with a trait. How many pairs have names like these? Pillar Pair; Golden pair; Tango pair; Dirty pair; Silver pair; Platinum pair; ...?

Well, Golden Pair is the canon nickname for the two. As for Silver Pair, not sure if that's something we've come up with or not. The other though, I think people gave them those names because of the common trait that makes them a pairing.
