I couldn't believe just how BLIND I was until this incident happened...
One fine evening, I was on my computer and got Bit Torrent so I could download lovely Tenimyu sorts of things. I saw a file titled "Tenipuri Perfect Live" and wasn't entirely sure what it was, so I innocently added it to my Bit Torrent queue.
Not long afterwards, I noticed a folder on my desktop, but never really thought to open it because the file was still loading (I am new to this type of Bit Torrent). I randomly decided to open the folder and saw that there were about 11 video files and so in turn tried to watch a few.
I didn't really get what was going on, because in each 4 minute clip, it would cut in and out of scenes every 10 seconds or so because the file was incomplete. After several minutes of trying to focus (I was up late... Death Cab was on SNL ), I came to the sudden conclusion that this was a live performance of all of the voice actors and an interview with Konomi-sensei (some shiny guy that was the LIVING EMBODIMENT OF AKUTSU was interviewing him).
I have started watching the various Tenimyu things and was getting to the point where I could put names to faces (for the original cast, anyway). After having the Perfect Live video skipping around for a bit, it came to a clip of a very familiar looking person in a Fudomine uniform saying, "This is Moriyama Eiji!".
I couldn't believe it. I knew that MoriEiji was the seiyuu of the beloved mumbler Ibu Shinji, but failed to make the connection that he plays Momoshiro Takeshi in the first Tenimyu cast. I could not believe myself. It took a while, and I sat a moment in silence gazing at my screen blankly. I have no idea how or why I didn't make that connection.
I am appalled at my brain.
That's all... I'm not really sure why I'm making this huge post, but maybe some people will read it and find my ignorance amusing. I am amused at myself as of this moment. And now I eagerly await for this behemoth file to finish downloading so I can watch everything the way it's supposed to be.
