you hit the bull's-eye about nightmare XD they started to gain popularity around here too thanks to death note (Am I the only person who doens't like death note? .-.)

lol Probably. Hell, even I loved it, and I'm totally skeptical about things that are popular. Then again, I watched it from the release of the first episode, so before it got popular.

I'm a tough crowd when it comes to anime,my friends accuse me of it.It's just that there are a lot of bad things out there XP It's hard to find a good and original series.

Saint Seiya is pretty good and original, IMO - since it was the first series ever to use the "mystic warriors" concept. It inspired Ronin Warriors and Gundam Wing among others.

Point being, I liked it before it was popular so there was nothing to turn me off it.  It was popular for a reason. Most things are, but the problem with popular stuff is that you hear so much about it before you watch it that a) nothing surprises you or b) it's been OVERhyped so much that it doesn't seem as good as you've heard. If you watch it from the start then you don't have those problems. |
