I bawled at Hughes' funeral. 'Nuff said. Lovux concurs. Heck, she cried even when she recently read that scene in the manga (yup, finally picked it up again, been planning to do so for MONTHS... but it never happened, for some reason). I think that's the only time I've ever cried when reading a manga, putting the outcome of you know what match in PoT aside. Huh? Bawled=cried my eyes out I've only cried a few times. This one and Nuriko's death in FY. It didn't help that the two events were actually only a month or so apart either for me.

WHO DIDIN'T? Ah, Hughes, it's impossible not to love that man, it's just so...Hughes. I think you're getting my point, aren't you?
Well...my favourite character of FMA is Ed. I just love him. Like Lovux said, his feelings are amazing and he's a very deep character. Roy Mustang is wonderful, but I just can't help loving Ed much more. Hughes is another character I adore. And obviously Izumi. She IS woman, oh yeah ^^

I adore the ground were Mustang steps. But my soft spot for Ed grows and grows more and more with each time I think about Paku Romi being his voice.
FMA is MADE to make you love it and cry your eyes out. Hughes´s death is one of those beig moments in anime ere EVERYONE al least feels the necessity to drop a tear. I simpossible not to love Izumi too.
Lovux, woman, I dont know HOW I couldnt think of Greed!

Is it weird that I ended up liking Lust in the end?

I wanted Scar and Lust to be together. For some reason, I really did. They seemed to understand each other.

They make quite a smexy pairing, I admit that. However, I have always had this strange craving for Lust x anime!Sloth...But Lovux's OTP will forever be Ed x Winry. You can see it from fifty miles away or something. Especially in the manga.

I have a weakness for RoyxEd wild sex, but I not as much as to deny canon. Canon can go on its way and I on the other. Besides in the manga the couples are undeniable. Manga!EdxManga!Winry is just fine, but the Anime!Winry characterization was not pleasant for me

I, personally, prefer the manga version to the anime version. Much more interesting and messed up.

I always prefer the manga version of almost everything. Cept for made-anime-first-thingies like Escaflowne (managa and movie suck so bad) or Eureka Seven.

True. Unless the anime was first, the manga's are almost always better.

Dead thread is quite dead, but Lovux is gonna revive it for the sake of the
FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST REMAKE.
That's right folks. In case you've been living under a rock, there's right now a brand new FMA anime in the making. According to sources, it will be closer to the original manga then the 2003-2004 series, and it will air in April this year.
OH GOD LOVUX IS SO EXCITED.
Yes, the "original" FMA anime is a materpiece, no question. Saw the last episode on TV just the other week and bawled like there was no tomorrow. But even so, the manga is so much better. It's so brilliant, smart, thrilling and emotional, it's just insane. If this new series is sticking to the manga storyline, I can't even begin to imagine what levels of epicness we're in for. Lovux is looking forward to this, and so should YOU.
