"The others disappeared..." said Yukimura absentmindedly, then turned back to Fuji. "Hm... we might as well investigate. I don't have my flash light, though, it's in my bag... "

"I tripped desu..." sniffed Dan, taking the offered hand of the other player. He was happy that Ryouma came back, but not the fact that he had to trip to get the other boys attention.
Turning his attention back to the older male that he ran away from before hand, he nodded. "I'm fine desu, sorry for running away before desu." I just didn't want to lose sight of Ryouma kun

Gakuto:
He shivered. It was getting cold again. Just like it had when...that loud sound...

Leaning a little closer to Yuushi, he started to walk a little faster, wanting to actually get inside that house with everyone else. Or actually, back out to the buses and leave.

In the monster/horror movies, bad things always happened to the small groups afterall.

Yuuta:
Noting Kaidoh's nod of agreement, Yuuta continued on. "Let's just hope that someone can find a working phone. I dunno about you, but," Yuuta looked around and shivered, the place giving him the creeps, "I really want to leave."

Pulling Gakuto closer to him for warmth, he was about to tease the other Hyoutei regular, but immediately frowned noticing how much colder he really was. There would be other times to joke with him later... "Almost there..." And just as Oshitari had said, the door was only a few more steps in front of them.

Gakuto:
Breaking away to hurry inside, the Hyotei red head was several steps inside the mansion when he stopped and started gagging.

"Yuck! It smells like Shishido's feet in here," he complained, pinching his nose to try and stop the smell from overpowering his sense of smell.

Within the blink of an eye, Yukimura and Fuji had disappeared from his sight. Although in the far corner of a hallway, he thought he noticed a brief refraction of light in the thick fog. That way... Sanada glanced behind hearing a loud voice behind them. Sounded like....one of those Hyoutei players....Gakuto?

Tezuka had looked in the same direction as Sanada had turned his head, immediately noticing the brief shine of light from a room. With only a few words along the lines of "I'll leave everything in your hands for now...", Tezuka headed in that same direction.

Taking small, cautious steps towards the room, he could feel his heart beating unnaturally fast. At the entrance of the 'study', he recognized two faint silhouettes in the distance, and a stream of light pointed in the other direction. Each step brought him closer and closer to his destination, until he was close enough to reach a hand out and tap their shoulders...

Fuji slightly jumped feeling something tap his shoulder. He turned around quickly, shining the flashlight at whatever just touched him. He felt a wave of relief as he recognized the owner of the hand was Tezuka.

"Saa, it isn't right to sneak up on innocent people such as us, Te-zu-ka," Fuji said in a childish manner while emphasizing his name.

He turned back around to continue his little investigation of the current room they were in. He has not yet seen the odd piece of wood nor the sliver of light.

"Sorry...I just wasn't sure..." Tezuka raised a hand over his eyes, as the light shined almost directly in his eyes.

"Sanada also seemed a bit worried about where you had gone off to, Yukimura." He glanced past Yukimura at the bookcases which were filled with books that had layers of dust and cobwebs atop them. While it was possible someone would not use the study for a long while, there was a greater chance that this place was simply abandoned and uninhabited.

"I don't see why he would," Yukimura frowned. He turned away from the two Seigaku players to look around the room. Noticing the light behind the board, he reached for it curiously.

[dyaoka]

The moment Yukimura reached towards the board, the light flickered abruptly, flashing on and off so rapidly that it seemed like it was one of the blinking lights they used in dance clubs. The board fell to the side and a rush of icy cold air blasted at the Rikkai tennis captain. Soft distorted murmurs encompassed the room, swirling into a whirlpool of what sounded almost like white noise.

Behind the board was an oddly tiled room. There was only a table in the center of the room and a knocked over chair. It was incredibly cold and pale. Dark splotches marred the tiled floor, walls, and ceiling. There were no windows and no other exits. It was a small room, no larger than a college dorm room.

Without warning, the ground shook violently, lurching everyone in and outside of the mansion back and forth. Outside, a creak and a thud was heard as the cellar door collapsed in on itself, the wood too old and rotted to hold out anymore. It laid next to the graveyard, a wide gaping hole like an abyss of darkness. The gates to the mansion remained firmly shut and an eerie wind blew pass all the tennis players in the yard.

The wind slammed the front doors of the mansion shut. A firm click confirmed that it had locked and the brown and red rust upon the hinges of the door gave in to jam the door in place.

There was no way out.

"HEY! GAKUTO COME SAY THAT TO MY FACE AT LEAST!" Shishido yelled behind him hearing the statement of the clinging red-head. Shishido silently fumed while he kept towards the terrible stench. He also reached into his bag and grabbed a flashlight.

Suddenly he heard a slam up ahead. Shishido quickly turned on his flashlight only to see the door closed and the stench gone, but the chill got colder. Shishido tried to open the door but it was slammed shut. Damn it! He looked behind only to see that Oshitari, Jirou, and Gakuto. No one else was in site. "Hey. Oshitari! We need to find another way in...the front door is slammed shut." Shishido sighed.

Fuji dropped his flashlight, surprised at what happen when Yukimura touched the odd piece of wood. He waited until everything died down before picking up his flashlight again. He also heard a door slam shut. Most likely the front door. This house is really odd... Shining the flashlight into the small room, Fuji stepped into it, shivering slightly as it was extremely cold. He walked over to the wall, placing a hand on one of the dark splotches, wondering what exactly what it was. He turned looking over to where Tezuka and Yukimura was.

"What just happen right now?"

He wouldn't deny that the soft murmurs and the strange noise didn't freak him out a bit. For that few seconds, it seemed the room had suddenly filled with spirits all around them. It was bizarre and a tad on the creepy side.

While helping Dan to his feet, he turned to Inui. "Inui-senpai..the others are towards the mansion. We should get there too.." Not letting go of the other boy's hand, he started walking to the faint image of the mansion.

The door slammed behing Marui as he just stepped into the mansion. "AHHH!!!!" he screamed at the top of his lungs. Oh crepe! Now Jirou-kun will see me! He ducked, waiting for the impact or Jirou's glomp.

Yukimura jerked backwards, completely caught off card by the blast of freezing cold wind from the suddenly appearing doorway. Losing his balance, he fell back into someone standing behind him, and the two of them tumbled into the strange room.

Kaidoh relaxed slightly at Yuuta's question.

"Yeah. I can't wait to get out of here." He growled. Suddenly there was a slam from up ahead and Kaidoh jumped, unable to stop the yelp it startled out of it.
