No response was heard, as he called out, so he continued to follow the direction of the screams.
"That Gakuto..." Oshitari sighed, pushing his way through the overgrown tree branches, listening for the footsteps of whatever dragged Gakuto away.
He stopped for a second hearing a pair of footsteps behind him, but no more screams in the distance. Sighing, he leaned against the nearby tree passing his hand through his hair.

He looked up at Tezuka, tears lining his face once again. "Kunimitsu..." He sat up hugging Tezuka tightly as he sobbed. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. I ended up getting hurt and I must have made you worry. I tried to get back, but I just couldn't." He sobbed again. He felt so pitiful today. All he had been doing is crying and getting himself hurt. "I'm sorry you had to come and find me. I'm so useless..." Even as he said this, he didn't have the courage to let go of Tezuka, but instead, hug him tightly.

(Thanks, I like comedy.  ) Gakuto ran in the direction of Oshitari. The trees in the forest make everything look like shadows. Noticing a weird moving shape leaning on a tree, he screamed yet again, and tried to run out of the forest in another direction. Without thinking, he fell to his knees and started crying. |

Dan just sighed heavily, digging his feet deeper into the sand.

Atobe stopped. For some reason, Gakuto had basically fallen to the ground, right at his feet, crying. It was actually pretty disturbing.
"Is this your sign of defeat?" He wonde-, no Ore-sama never wondered anything.

"AAAAHHHHHH!!!!" Gakuto screamed again when he looked up to see someone or something speaking to him. He ran straight through the forest to the other side. He got several cuts on his arm from the bushes and tree branches, but he was too scared to care.

Gakuto continued to run back and forth. Whenever he saw something, he would scream and run in the opposite direction. Seriously, that rock with legs and a head and that figure in the darkness really freaked him out.

Oshitari looked back at Atobe, only smiling at his words. Following after Gakuto, he called out to his doubles partner trying to catch up until he caught hold of his hand. "Gakuto!" Oshitari shouted out at him, keeping his hand firm around Gakuto's wrist.

"Fuji." His first call to the tensai didn't reach his ears, "Syuusuke. Shh...it's all right." He ran his hand through Fuji's hair, as he bent down and placed a kiss atop his head. "Let's go back." He looked down at Fuji's ankle, noticing that it seemed to be a bit swollen. Sliding his hands beneath Fuji's knees and supporting his back, he lifted the boy into his arms. "You sprained your ankle didn't you?" He gave Fuji a small smile.

"Wah!" He yelped in surprise as Tezuka lifted him off the ground into his arms. He had impulsively wrapped his arms around Tezuka's neck. "What about the firewood?" He looked at Tezuka with his tear stained face. However, he looked away sheepishly. "I guess I did." He didn't want to admit it, finding it a little embarassing. A small blush had arose. He hoped it was dark enough not to notice. It didn't help that Tezuka's smile was so comforting and sweet."Well, maybe its more than I guess..."

He looked down at Fuji. "It is more than I guess." He agreed with Fuji's statement, nodding as walked through the mist in the forest, finding his way back to the cave. "I'll come back and get more firewood after I leave you with Eiji in the cave. That should give you some time to rest up until I get back. You should keep your foot elevated, and don't put pressure on it for a while." He readjusted his right hand around Fuji's back. "Don't make me worry like that, Fuji..." He said trying to hide a slightly hurt expression on his face, trudging through the forest brush.

He listened to Tezuka quietly. He always had to make sure an injured person took proper care of his injuries. The pained look he saw just for a second made him bite his lip and sent a jolt of pain through his heart. Fuji felt so guilty for making him worry, especially knowing how much Tezuka cared for him. He didn't want to make him worry, he just wanted to help his unconscious friend. Although he just caused more trouble. He buried his face into Tezuka's chest holding back tears, although he wondered if he had any tears left to cry. "I'm sorry Kunimitsu..."

"AHHHH!!!!" Gakuto screamed as something grabbed his wrist. He look back. "Yuu--Oshitari!" He tried harder to run away, but he stayed in the same place. Finally, he resorted to crying.
