Fuji didn't notice Tezuka wake up. He stopped playing with his hair and stood up. He bit his bottom lip as he did so. He was more sore than he thought he was. He replaced his grimace with a smile as usual. Eiji wasn't going to find out anything Tezuka and himself had done. "Maa, took him long enough." He turned to look at Tezuka and opened his eyes in surprise. "Ah Kunimitsu? Did I wake you?" He smiled softly, hoping Tezuka didn't see the expression on his face a minute or two ago. "I'm sorry if I did." Either Tezuka was a light sleeper or his naps were extremely short. "Are you going back to sleep?" He doubted it, after what Eiji had drew on his face last time they had taken a nap.

"That's okay. No, I'm not going back to sleep..." He closed his eyes, and rose up from his previous position.
"Are you feeling okay, Fuji?" He could tell in his voice, something was different. Brushing out the sand from his hair, he looked over to his right. No doubt about it, Eiji was coming...

Eiji merrily hopped closer and closer to Tezuka and Fuji, but stopped dead when he saw Tezuka touch his cheek.
Oh yeah... the acrobat grimaced, having forgotten about the whole punishment followup part of playing pranks. []. . . nya, idea![/i]
He climbed up into a tree again (yay for learning new tricks) that was right along the edge of the beach, and climbed along the trees of the forest until he was right over head from Fuji and Tezuka, then lowered himself down very much like the Chesire cat.

Fuji offered a hand to Tezuka. "Need help getting up?" He knew the other wasn't very happy about Eiji coming. Well then again, Fuji wasn't the one who had marker all over his face.
"I'm fine, why do you ask?" Tezuka was sharp! Even after a nap, well extremely short one, but a nap nonetheless. Which was quite the opposite for Fuji, Fuji wasn't always the waking up type of person.

Atobe heard a scream somewhere far off on another part of the island. Sitting down on a rock, he looked out at the sea which surrounded their island. Some birds were chirping. And the waves were crashing along the seashore.
"Maybe Ore-sama should buy this island after everything is over," he murmured to himself, "because when it is not being evil, it seems to be quite a nice place."

Eiji watched Fuji and Tezuka from above. Oooo this is fun, he thought. Then after that it wasn't quite as fun but still sort of fun. .... Then after that it started to get a little boring.
And Fuji promised he would play with me... hm.... how to play with Fuji without getting in trouble... his mischievious kitty brain started working on a plan...

Tezuka looked at Fuji's hand, and smiled declining the offer, as he stood up. "You forced a smile on didn't you...when I woke up...." Tezuka said looking across at Fuji as he dusted off any remaining sand that stuck to him.

Fuji put his hands on his hips. "I didn't force a smile when you woke up." It was the truth in some ways. He had replaced his grimace with a smile almost automatically. Tezuka just happend to have woken up at that time. It wasn't the truth either though. Fuji smiled in an embarassed manner. "But I did happend to force a smile on."

Tezuka smiled as Fuji got defensive in a second. "Okay, so you just forced a smile on. That works too. So you're okay..." He looked straight at Fuji looking for any breaks in the tensai's guard.

Fuji couldn't help but smile a true, soft smile at Tezuka. Tezuka's smile almost made him feel like he was literally melting, although that as impossible to do from a smile. "I told you I was fine. Maybe a little tired, but nothing to worry about." Fuji's mind drifted a bit back to scenes from the chaos since they arrived on the island to childhood memories. He looked at the ocean in a daydreaming way. "Maa..."

(somehow i'm staying up from the sugar of having sweets for dinner, and an afternoon snack...breakfast too...o.O ...xD)
"Okay...if you say so. I believe you." Tezuka pushed the frames of his glasses a bit higher on his nose. Fuji seemed be tired as he said, and staring off as if he were missing something, reflecting on past events. He walked towards Fuji, and pulled him close to him, a firm embrace. He wouldn't press the topic anymore, but he figured that everything could be spoken with a single action.

Fuji looked up at Tezuka's face in mild shock. "Kunimitsu?" He soon melted into the embrace, very happy to be in Tezuka's arms. "Ne, Kunimitsu. How long did you know I liked you?" It didn't matter what the answer was. He was just curious how long his crush on Tezuka was obvious. Well, maybe it did matter. The longer Tezuka hadn't known, the more chances that he would fall for someone else. "If you tell me, I'll tell you how long I had a crush on you. Well, unless the answers were the same." He smiled sincerely. Fuji wanted to know more about Tezuka atleast, and he was sure Tezuka wanted to know more about himself. And with a certain redhead coming, there wasn't much time to discuss about each other until later.

"How long? Saa..." Tezuka was only aware of when he started liking Fuji. Perhaps it had been in their second year, when he started to see what the real Fuji Syuusuke was like, or maybe even before that time. He figured he would guess what he knew...when he started liking the tensai. "First year?"

"Wow, that long?" said Eiji, completely forgetting that he was supposed to be all stealth. Then realizing that he said that outloud, he pulled back to hide amongst the tree's branches.

Tezuka heard a voice above him that sounded like Eiji. Immediately, he released his hold on Fuji, and glared up at Eiji, tempted to give Eiji laps to run around the island. At that point the only who could convince him otherwise was Fuji.
"Eiji....50..." Tezuka started to speak, but had to weigh the punishment of Eiji's actions a bit more heavily. 10 laps was normal, 20 laps was going against practice rules, double the amount of laps for speaking back to him when he assigned laps. For people that played pranks on him however....
