Tezuka didn’t really favor the idea, but just nodded. No vocal approval. That in itself said more than enough. But this apology, did it need to be done right now? Especially when Fuji wasn’t feeling well. Tezuka sighed. There was no arguing about it. So he released his hold on Fuji and nodded at him to goon and apologize. To be honest, he had nothing to apologize for where Eiji was concerned….after yesterday’s incident…

Fuji got up, but nearly fallen over again. A wave of dizzyness had hit him when he stood up. He smiled sheepishly to Tezuka. "I'm sorry, I must be very troublesome at the moment." He slowly walked off towards Eiji's direction. "Eiji~! I want to talk to you for a second." His voice was failing him too, it sounded tired and frail, like hos current condition. He was definately going to take a nap after this.

Tezuka almost acted on impulse, ready to break Fuji’s fall, but noticed that the tensai regained his balance. Tezuka looked across as Fuji approached Eiji’s position. He had been speaking with Oshitari and Atobe. And somehow that picture didn’t seem right. Quite fishy…

Gossip. Or so it seemed. That was more Gakuto’s area of interest. Ahh, yes but he couldn’t forget, same species. Although with a hint that simple, even a simple-minded person could understand what Eiji meant. Personally, that didn’t interest Oshitari. Only one thing, or person was of interest to him, and he stood right next to him.
“I really don’t see the benefit of it. Sounds like something Gakuto would do.” Oshitari smirked at the thought of it.

Eiji spun around in respond to Fuji's call to see Seigaku's lithe tensai heading towards him. Whether they had good or bad timing, Eiji couldn't decide, but either way things would turn out dandy, nya ha ha. Really, all of life was a win-win situation, or so the redhead had himself decided.
He lifted his hand to wave but stopped half-way in horrified concern when he saw Fuji stumble.
Behind him, he heard Oshitari mention something about Gakuto, but unfortunatly (for Hyotei's tensai, and perhaps fortunatly for the redhead), Eiji had a really low attention span, so now that he was focused on Fuji falling he couldn't hear the dark haired boy all that well.
Worried about his friend, he dashed over to where Fuji was (it only took a second). "Fujiko, daijoubu?!"

Fuji smiled tiredly. "I'm fine Eiji, just tired." Eiji was sweet, being worried about his well being. "Nevermind that, I wanted to know if we could talk. Talk away from them." Them referred to Hyoutei's diva and tensai. He grabbed Eiji's arm and tugged. Tugging was the best he could do, afterall, there was no way he would be able to pull in his current state. "Please?" Fuji's voice sounded tired and had a hint of pleading in it. Although Fuji would continue to badger him until he listened. His attempts weren't going to be wasted. "It's important that you listen." Well, Fuji thought it was important atleast.

While Oshitari hadn't been interested, Atobe had been slightly. Anything to do with his eternal rival, Tezuka, caught his attention.
"Ore-sama must think about the offer," he called out to the red head. "We will speak on it later though." And with that, Atobe linked arms with Oshitari and continued on his way.

"I was just kidding about the bonding thing. You sure can use that word in everyday talk can't you? 'bond', I find it hilarious when the new female teachers say it to the class," Akaya rolled his eyes.
Yea the leaves could wait for later, but at least he could suggest something.
"Buuut then again I guess we can take a little break. Over there you said?"

Eiji happily let Fuji drag him away. Hurrah, he had successfully managed to make Oshitari and Atobe forget about the whole him-crashing-into-them thing! And Fuji was finally giving him some attention. Stalling was a wonderful thing, nya (actually, he'd learned that technique from Fuji XD). And if he'd actually give the two Hyotei-ers some pictures, well, that wouldn't have hurt either.
"Nya, I'll listen, I'll listen!" Eiji assured Fuji. Really, Eiji was a good listener. Sorta. Well he listened to Fuji, like, when he wasn't listening in class and Fuji told him what the answer was when the teacher called on him (she always calld on him). That counted, right?

"Seems like a nice secluded grove. I don't know about you, but a snooze seems appealing all of a sudden." Mizuki barely managed to stifle a small yawn right after he said the last sentence. He walked over to the grove, and looked around.
It's probably due to me waking up so early. Well, early enough to see most of the sunrise, that's for sure.

Fuji stopped, letting go. "Eiji, I've been a bad friend. I just wanted to say sorry I've been ignoring you for Kunimitsu." By now, Fuji had completely forgotten about the incident with Eiji and Tezuka. "I hope you'll forgive me." He smiled apolegetically to Eiji. "Saa, by the way Eiji, what were you doing with those two?" It was odd he was away from Oishi.

"O-oh," said Yuuta, feeling a bit embarrased. He thought Akaya had been serious. He heard things like 'bonding' all the time from his brother, who he knew was dead serious, so it just didn't seem that unnatural of an idea.
He followed after Mizuki, looking around for a soft clean spot to settle down. He wasn't particularly tired (he slept a lot the day before, after all), but he felt that a rest would be nice.
"Mizuki-san, how about sleeping on these grasses over here?" Yuuta suggested, clearing off the area in question with his hands. There was plenty of room for all three of them.

Eiji found himself surprised again, for the umpteenth time that day. But then he felt so cheerful and happy, "Oh Fuji, I'm so glad you understand! You don't have to apologize, I mean, of course I'll forgive you, you didn't do anything wrong, nya!" Nope, it was all that jerk Tezuka's fault, he added in his head. "I just want the two of us to play around the way we used to, nya, cause lots of trouble and the like," Eiji smiled happily at his friend. Yay, now things would finally start to get fun! "Ah, those two?" he added, finally processing Fuji's question (yeah, it takes a while ...for Eiji ^^;  "Oh yeah, I remember!" (he says, as if this was something that happened a long time ago ^^;; "Thank you so much Fujikochan, you totally saved me. I ran into them on accident and then they got all mad at me and I was trying to talk my way out of it but then you came along, thank you nya!" He glomped Fuji in thanks. |

"Saa, that's good, I didn't want our friendship to end up in shambles. Fuji smiled tiredly. "About the playing part though, I don't think I'm up to it. Maybe after a nap or something." He wouldn't be able to keep up with his cheerful friend even if he tried. "If they were doing something to you, you could have called Oishi, me, or Kunimitsu you kn-" Fuji didn't finish his sentence as Eiji glomped in. The impact knocked him over and Fuji found himself on the ground with his hyper friend on top of him. It also happend to knock the wind out of him. "Maa, Eiji please get off, I can't breath and, well, you're kinda heavy when you have all your weight on me." His attempts at getting Eiji off him was failing.

"Oh." said Eiji, rather flatly, as if processing. "Oh, okay, sorry Fuji, nya!" he quickly moved off his friend (minus the long pause in which he was still processing ^^ . "I forgot you're sick. Nya, I know, I'll carry you! Piggy back style, then you won't have to walk!" Eiji beamed, feeling brilliant. "Where do ya wanna sleep? Here on the beach? It's nice and warm...I'll take you whereever you wanna go nya!" |
