"Okay, I guess Herbal Essence is something I'm better off with accepting than Lux Super Rich..." Akaya shrugged. He watched Mizuki brush his hair from the corner of his eye. Akaya always brushed his hair with his fingers (most of the time), and the way Mizuki combed his hair seemed to be...different.
He was staring at that wavy hair again...
Kirihara was starting to wonder if there was still that rosy smell despite the sea wind and water...
A couple of eyerolls (at himself) and he shook the thought off.
"Books? Hmm... Don't read many books at all. Seriously. I think the last time I read something it was a Tennis Magazine too. Literature..." He felt like it was years ago, "Maybe Jurassic Park,"
Uhhh...
"Whatever,"

Dan managed to stumble out of the way of the thrown watermelon.
"Ah! Don't hit me desu!" He whined, tripping over a misplaced root. Tumbling over, the freshman landed flat on his face.

Mizuki grinned casually as he switched to brushing the other side of his head.
"Hnn... for books I can't say I've read the whole library at school, but I have read Jurassic Park in my youth - and so to speak it was quite a good story. Though, don't you think the part where Dr. Grant realized that the dinosarus changed genders and reproduced, due to them having a certain frog gene in them and being in a same sex enviornment, is kind of... iffy?" He pointed his brush in realization at Kirihara as he continued his trail of thoughts.
"Why didn't Hammod nor the scientists he hired see this potiental problem comming up? Hmm."

((I never read the book for Jurassic Park so I'm just going by the movie 'kay? XD And whoo Mizuki ramble! And being technical. Sorta. Whee! Sorry for bad post. Just... wanted to get this outta my system a VERY long time ago. [the Jurassic Park ramble bit, I mean] :D))

"Oh... that sounds rediculous... eh, biologically," said Yuuta, blinking. He'd never read Jurassic Park but he was worried that if he gave that away, he'd get made fun of.
"Hm, I recently finished Peter Pan - uh, I know it's supposed to be a kid's book but Aniki said it's good for any age, so, uh, yeah. Peter's really cocky and sort of a brat, he reminds me of somebody..."

His headband dropped over his eyes once again, leaving the child blind.

Eiji cracked up, the boy was so funny to watch with the green headband covering his eyes. While gasping for breath, he reached out to snatch the offending headband off the kid's head.

"Nya-ni?!" Eiji whirled around after handing the headband back to Chibi-du. "Oooo, good idea! Okay okay, teams of three, and we're on the same team! Let's make a list of what we have to find."
He talked so fast that his hyperactivity almost caused spontaneous combusted. "And we'll get to explore the whole island and find everyone who is here! And our team is totally gonna win. Okay, list!"
He pulled out his remaining sharpie and a crumpled receipt that was in his pocket.

He wrote on the paper the first 5 items:
1) player from Seigaku (not on team)
2) giant pickle
3) rival player
4) pin
5) fruit other than watermelon (oooo how practical, but I bet Eiji is just planning to throw it anyways)

"I wonder who," Akaya made it sound like he knew, but actually he didn't. His voice just liked doing that automatically.
"And, seriously Mizuki, do you have to take all of this book talk so seriously? Please, I don't even remember who Hammod is..." He rolled his eyes, "Can't you relax a bit when we're out of school?"

Yuuta eyed Akaya, feeling like they were somehow similar but in a 'distasteful' way, as his brother would say.
"Mizuki-san, have you read Around the World in 80 Days? If you haven't, I highly recommend it. It's light, easy read." Despite addressing his sempai, his eyes stayed trained on Akaya in a total glare.

Oshitari watched as Atobe ducked beneath his arm. So the diva was truly a diva through and through, not allowing anyone to stand above him, not even the slightest.
"Show me that you don't want to quit then...." Oshitari leaned against the wall of the cave, a silence sweeping between them.
