Fuji smiled softly. He always made him feel so much better. He wiped away the remaining tears chuckling softly. "You never seemed like the romantic type Kunimitsu. I fear I think I was wrong though. You seem to be outsmarting me a lot."
His thoughts were interrupted when he heard Eiji's voice. Fuji turned to Eiji, eyes closed, and his fake smile plastered on. "Ok Eiji, we'll follow you in a minute or two." He could still pretend until he sorted out his mixed feelings.

"Nya?" Eiji titled his head in question when he saw Fuji's face. The tensai's smile was a little tighter than usual, though most people would never notice, but Eiji was one of the few people who knew Fuji well enough to tell. But more than that, Eiji's sharp eyes didn't miss the tear streaks that adorned the tensai's cheeks.
"Fuji, daijoubu?" Eiji asked, glancing suspiciously at Tezuka.

Oshitari walked away from the beach, leaving behind Atobe with a last thought and a smile on his face. That moment even rested on his lips, and lingered. In many cases he had honestly hoped for something like that to happen, but even still he was surprised the diva didn't have a fit and push him away. "So, Kei-chan...is it possible??" Cutting through the brush of the forest, Oshitari caught sight of Gakuto....watching something that seemed to be quite interesting. After what happened between him and Atobe, Oshitari had to admit....appearing before Gakuto would be a little awkward, but....
Approaching his doubles partner, Oshitari creeped up behind Gakuto, and placed his chin on the tennis player's shoulders. "Gakuto..."

Tezuka looked at Fuji's red eyes, "Are you okay?" Reaching to the buttons of Fuji's shirt, he buttoned up the final buttons at the top. Placing a finger under Fuji's chin Tezuka lifted his face up to look at him, placing his hand on Fuji's cheek. A last display of affection.

"I'm fine." He answered both Eiji and Tezuka. He chuckled fakely, but it sounded so real, it would take the most observant people to notice the falseness. "Eiji, go ahead, we'll catch up." Fuji pulled up his shrits and started buttoning them. Fuji opened his eyes for a second to stare at Tezuka, before shutting them tightly. Fuji was relieved he could pretend so well. Fuji felt dizzy. Maybe it was form sitll being sick, or maybe it was thinking so hard about how to respond to what Tezuka just told him. Fuji just didn't know what to think anymore.

"Nyo, um, okay," said Eiji, "Though Oishi's taking his time so I might as well wait." He knew that Fuji didn't like it when others tried to pry, but the redhead couldn't help but be worried, what with Fuji looking like that... and was he wobbling a little? Eiji had perfect motion vision so he could tell. But it didn't look like Tezuka had done anything judging by how lovey they still were, so....
Eiji felt confused, and of course curious, cats bathe in curiosity, and of course worry, and a lot of other things, and he kinda wanted to just ask Fuji when Tezuka wasn't around but it didn't look like that would happen any time soon. Inside Eiji gave a little sigh as he sat on some rocks to wait.

Fuji's hands were busy, constantly moving, buttoning this, securing that. Tezuka took his hand, and looked at him straight in the eyes. "Really?" He couldn't tell with Fuji, when it was convenient Fuji put up the perfect facade that even till now he couldn't understand. For now, all he could do was trust Fuji's words. Bending down towards Fuji's face, Tezuka kissed him lightly, and nodded. "Are you ready?"

"Kinda, lying on the ground too long made me groggy." He was relieved Eiji wasn't prying. What would Eiji's reaction? Would he deny it? Who would he have to side with? His best friend or his lover? Fuji clutched his head. He should stop thinking, it was only making it worse. "I guess we should get going." His hand involuntarily clutched at Tezuka's shirt after he finished buttoning his shorts. Don't let me go.

Eiji was still pretty wet, but didn't have any change of clothing. He sat on the rock but leaned back so he could kick his feet up in perfect 180 degree stretches. Oishi looked like maybe he was finally gonna make his way out of the waterfall, and Tezuka and Fuji were dressing. In summary, Eiji was bored.
He kept glancing back to see if his friends were done yet and they could go already.

"Yeah..." Tezuka agreed, feeling Fuji's grip on his shirt. His grip was firm, but unsure as if he felt like he would fall away. Placing his hand at the edge of his shirt, it lightly touched Fuji's hand, providing some reassurance.
Approaching Eiji, Tezuka's buchou face was back. No more affectionate Tezuka when facing Eiji. Not that there ever was a time when he was smiling at Eiji or anything of the sort. "What now? I still think we should head back to the beach area....we won't finish exploring the rest of this forest today."

Fuji continued to cling to Tezuka as they approached Eiji. Tezuka facial expression was back to normal and he was smiling with eyes closed again. But just for a minute or so Fuji was truly smiling as he reminded himself of what just happend. Tezuka's smiles and affection were for him and him only. He would forgive Eiji of course, but that didn't mean Eiji wasn't going to get a punishment. "Saa, how about we get food." Fuji wasn't very hungry though. He started to lean on Tezuka. "Or maybe find somewhere to take a nice nap."

[whitelilacs and aibacchi are scaring me. xDD No, it's not the TezuFuji love. I look at the forum page and see that two new pages have popped up and I go wtf o.0 (I thought I missed a lot or something and it's only been a day. Damn the different time zones!]
Akaya shrugged and knelt over the watermelon, marking a line over the green skin. With a smooth hand motion he held the knife pointing upwards but thwacked it down into that small cut, pushing the handle in with his palm until a crisp crack could be heard coming from the watermelon.
A crooked slit split half of the watermelon. Taking the juice-stained knife out of the deep crack, Akaya pried open the rest of the crack with his hands and stood up with both halves.
"Sooo how are we going to eat this?"

Eiji hopped up cheerfully. Finally, they were going! Though Fuji seemed to be clinging to Tezuka even harder than before. Boo.
Eiji quickly retrieved Oishi then declared, "Hoi! Let's go back to the beach, where everyone else is!"

Walking through the forest, Tezuka led the way through the brush and trees branches to the beach side, noticing a familiar shadow on the side, Oshitari with Gakuto. Continuing the walk along the path, Tezuka emerged from the shade of the forest into the bright sun, to find a group of people scattered at the beach, and Atobe sitting down.
"Back where we started." Tezuka stated, looking back at Fuji and Eiji.

"Hm..." said Yuuta, standing up next to Akaya. He glanced over at his team's manager, but Mizuki seemed engaged in a rather thoughtful conversation with Atobe, so no help there.
"Maybe we can just carve out pieces? There's plenty for everyone, so we can just keep eating till we're full." It never occurred to Yuuta that not many people can fill up on watermelon alone.
