Living so closeby... you're so fortunate!
A friend and I drove to a nearby town and then ferried across water then walked for about 15 minutes (plus an additional 10 spent in this really freaky library with limegreen elevator walls) to our destination.

I wish I lived closer to all the anime cons. The closest to me would be AX and that's at least 1 1/2 hours from my house T_____T. I really want to stay in a hotel though (next year I plan to since they're moving AX back to Long Beach...I think  ) |

i live near where Fanime is being held at.  it's about 30 min. to 45 min. for a drive, but to commute back and forth for all 4 days drives my parents crazy. =P so they told me to get a hotel and split the price with other people. XD |

Hm? The convention is probably very far from you... seeing is that, I'm from the Philippines It's in megamall mega trade center, for those who want to come... Sometime in July... there isn't a set date though. Sorry, I wasn't much of an assistance |
