And now that you mentioned it, Nyx and Tomomasa do look kinda alike. Except that Tomomasa has green hair and eyes. XD And he seems like a womanizer (has an affair with a woman, then says she doesn't have anything interesting in her and takes another. Nyx is too polite for that kind of stuff. XP).
Although, their voices are equally hot: Toru Ohkawa and Kazuhiko Inoue (OMG. To think that I didn't like him before. Now I love his Aion;Chrono Crusade, Hatori;Fruits Basket and all his HaruToki characters... and Kakashi. XD). Aion is especially awesome, even though he creeps the hell out of me.

The latest episode (#6) of Neo Angelique was the best episode in a LONG time. Mathias being evil, and Nyx abducting Angelique were both events that (for Lovux) were totally UNEXPECTED! Of course, Lovux is not the brightest of people, so it's quite natural that she wouldn't see either coming... XD I really like how they had all bishies gathered at the same place. Not in the very same room perhaps, but they could all be found in the same location. Well, if you don't count Erenfried... Aaah, the last episode has been out for some time, both as a raw and Jem sub, but I haven't seen it yet. I only wish Strawberry Mint Subs could be just a little bit faster and didn't release a new episode once every two weeks. Let's see, there are seven episodes left... that means the last episode will be out in fourteen weeks, which means... three and half a month? CAN I BE SPARED FROM SPOILERS THAT LONG?!  |

I think so. At least in my case - I haven't even started to watch the whole series (I wanna finish my other series first. *is looking forward to Cyber Formula*).
PS. Btw, in case you wondered what I meant with my furry comment... Sazaki and Karigane are not humans. They're friends from a race similar to humans, but with eagle wings sprouting out of their back.

Finished La Corda d'Oro ~Primo Passo~ just the other day. Quick overview stats by Lovux: Story: 6/10. Somewhat pleasant and not completely braindead, but it left you unsatisfied. Characters: 6/10. They had their strong and weak sides, and some or more likeable than others, but in the end, none of them stood out that much. Animation/Art: 7/10. Very cute, but not special. Music: 10/10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT'S LIKE CANDY FOR YOUR EARS!!!!!!!! Yaoi potential: 5/10. Not high, but there ARE lots of bishies, so I guess that's enough to make a fangirls' mind go mad. Yuri potential: 3,5/10. Again, not very high, but if you squint, there could be some undertones here and there... First of all, I'm surprised at how little romance the show had. I mean, sure, Kahoko spent a lot of time around the bishies, but there was never any tension, IMO. Also, some questions where just never answered, like this; why did Kahoko get the magic violin in the first place? I guess that the characters did bore me a little... or just frustrate me. It took me eight minutes of the first episode, then I had officially nicknamed Tsukimore Len "The Asshole". And my catchphrase whenever Shimizu dared to show his face was "Stop being a retard, you retard!". But I don't hate them.  My favourite character was definitely Yunoki, he was the only one who had an interesting personality, a "bad boy" attitude beneath the polite smile (in which I never believed in in the first place. I knew from the start that he was a psycho.  ). Beware of the nice ones! However, the art was pretty and the music was golden. Especially the soundtrack deserves all the praise it can get. Classic music it's really touching, don't you think so? And for me, who have been studying classic music, it was certainly funny to hear pieces of music I've had tests on and then know like half of the answers to the quizzes in "Lili's One Point Classic". Lovux's raiting of the show: 6,5/10.Pretty art and one of the most beautiful soundtracks I've ever heard, but that alone won't make a plain story with plain characters rank higher than decent. |

...I kind of guessed already that Kiniro no Corda would be a bit boring. ...HaruToki, on the other hand... I really need to find the second OVA up for download somewhere. I want to see Yukitaka, Yoritada, Yasutsugu, Isato and Akifumi, goddamnit. ...Not to mention Hisui, Katsuzane and Motomi.
AAAAAHHHH, and I want to see the Maihitoyo stageplay! >.O It has JURI in it as Tomomasa! (And the voice of Karigane as Takamichi and the voice of Eka as Tenma. Oh, and the ever-so-adorable actor of Saiyuki musical's Goku as Inori. <3~ Plus Yasuaki and Yorihisa's actors are so hot in their stage outfits.)
Oh well. :/ *goes back to watching Initial D: 4th Stage*
