After checking the help section i managed to reset the board images, sorry for not trying harder to find a solution earlier. if anyone has copies of the forum icons saro made before please post them and I'll see if i can find somewhere to host them. Edit: I know someone sneakily deleted the post where I offered them in the first place, but that doesn't change what I said in it. Long time no post.  Though this place seem more like a dead city than an actual forum nowadays, so it's not like I've missed muchHow life's going for Lovux? Just great! School's started again, and meeting all my friends after the summer was lovely. It's so heart-warming to see them again, especially when you know that they have actually missed me and were looking forward to seeing me as well. I think I've been glomped one hundred times since last Friday. Mutual friendship is the best.  Speaking of friends, I think I might be on my way on converting one of them into a Matsumoto Leiji fan. I noticed that she favourited one of the Galaxy Express 999/Captain Harlock AMVs I showed her on YouTube.  Also, guess what imeasurable treasure I found at LiveJournal today? CINEMATIC SOUND DRAMAS. OF GET BACKERSBet ya didn't see than one coming.  Anyway, these are sound adaptions of manga arcs we never got to see in the anime. The seiyuus from the anime are all here again, with new characters added to the cast. I've looked at the cast list, and it looks pretty much AWESOME. Though, honestly, I always imagined Maria Noches sounding like Mitsuishi Kotono instead of Neya Michiko... Anyway, it will be interesting to hear "Risa Hawkeye" as a passionate witch, I'm looking forward to it! Heck, I'm looking forward to the whole thing! I mean, it's the MANGA ARCS! The arcs I could kill to have them dramatized! And now, my wish is so close to be fulfilled. We have the (original!) seiyuus, we have the music, we have the sound effects, then where the hell are the moving, coloured video visuals?  According to a comment made by the original uploader, the cast mentions in the "Free Talk" tracks that they would love to see the rest of the GB manga animated and reprise their roles. FUCK YEAH I AGREE WHOLE-HEARTEDLY. I demand GB anime sequel.  Ohh~  I'll just look around this forum a wee bit more, then I shall read the GB manga while listening to this heavenly wonder~ HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII~  |

I'm still in the process of reading Initial D. :/ That manga is friggin long, over 550 chapters. Then I'll move on. But... I took a year off from my current school. I hate it, I hate it, I HATE IT. DX So I enrolled into an open university course... comparative literature. What could be a better way to earn academic credits than reading? <3 (Ovid's Metamorphoses is on the reading list, YAY~) I'll also go to some adult education centre courses - Japanese, Latin and reiki. |

asldfsdkjfgdkgdfg WAI~! I just took part in an Akira Ishida birthday project at LJ. Near mid-October Ishitan will receive an email with birthday wishes from fans in it. I told him "happy birthday and hope you have a great year ahead of you" and then wrote that I'm waiting forward to hearing him as Asmita in Lost Canvas and that I like all of his roles. XD I also quoted Frank Lloyd Wright at the end... he has this reflective phrase that goes "The longer I live the more beautiful life becomes". I thought it was a nice finishing touch. |

I'm frustrated... and worried. I'm supposed to have gotten my student money by, but my bank account is still empty. I know that I first needed to go to school, have our first lesson so our teacher could see that we were there and THEN he would send in a notice to those who gives us money that we, well, should have money. According to the some, we are supposed to have our money two days after our first school lesson, but now It's gone almost four days, and nothing has happened! I have talked to several of my classmates, and it seems that some of them have gotten their money, but some haven't. What the hell's going on? Those who gives us money HAVE sent me a letter that I am to recieve money, but they need the teacher's confirmation first. I have taken a look at the letter, and there it suddenly said that I should expect getting my money EARLIEST at a a week after the new term's first lesson... but I don't have the time to wait!! Monday next week is the last day of the month, ie the last chance I get to pay the rent, and if I don't have money by then, I don't know what will happen....!!!  Edit: On a brighter note, Lovux is getting dangerously close to 5,000 posts. I wonder what I should spend that awesome post on.  |
