This is a new show I discovered recently, it just aired in Japan two days ago.

Princess Princess

"Story:
A boys school has a system called "Princess"(HiME). In this male-dominated school, beautiful students who have been chosen as princess have to be dressed in Goth-Loli costume for school events.

Tooru Kouno is a transfer student. Without prior knowledge, he is chosen as the candidate for school "Princess" due to his beautiful appearance. Tooru initially refuses such role, but later accepts it when he acknowledges that there are various privileges for being the "Princess".

There are two other princess students at the school, Yuujirou Shihoudani and Mikoto Yutaka. Sihoudani enjoys his princess role very much, and Yutaka is trying to escape the role. A wonderful school life around the three princesses has just begun!"

The show is a shojo comedy with some nice character designs and it's just fun.

Hehehe, the manga for that anime is by an author I really like, but......
The anime character designs look scary to me. ^^;; I will try to watch it, though. They keep making all these shoujo manga into anime... I guess girls/women are becoming a bigger target audience.

The mangaka has written a lot of interesting gender bending comedy manga. Her shoujo manga alias is Mikiyo Tsuda and her alias for yaoi manga is Taishi Zaou. I <3 her.

btw this is a double post, i know, done it also to bump the topic

took a look at it; the colors are rather...flat, making everything...2-d-ish even more than usual. i think it's cuz of the lack of highlights; the regular color and then shadows, but no highlights. the only thing that really stands out are the eyes, everything else just kind of fades into the background.

overall, i guess it was alright. reminds me a bit of Sukisyo. =/ i'm not much of a humor person so most of the humor in the series falls a bit short.

yeah it did remind me a bit of sukisyo. ^^;; especially the hair colors...i was like...*blink blink* but i'll still keep up with it to keep me entertained.

I watched two episodes in Youtube and I love that anime. <3 I can't wait subs.

I love their loli-clothes. ^^
