Ah, but anyway.
Good series with many good matches = generally hard to decide one favourite... if it wasn't for one of them being so OUTSTANDING and THRILLING it turns around at gets easy.
ATOBE VS TEZUKA!!!
No, this is NOT just biased Atobe fangirlspeech. Actually, I loved that match to death long before I opened my eyes for Atobe THAT much (Kaidoh was my no. 1 TeniPuri guy back then!!). It's a Battle of Titans! Titans not going all DBZ, as they do nowadays.
Why yes, my despise for brat boy has only grown, but the Akutsu vs Echizen match is one of the matches of his that can't be left out. It was, in lack of other words... VERY COOL. And it lasted very long too.
Meh, Lovux tired, Lovux unable to write proper motivations.

For some reason I didn't like the Atobe vs Tezuka match. In my mind it was bit painful to watch the emotional roller coaster. I know it sound weird coming from me since I love angst stories and I adore characters with a painful past. Yet, something about that match just bothers me greatly.
Seeing Tezuka's arm being broken just kind of make me want to shed a tear for him. oh and seeing Atobe feeling so unsatisfied sucks too. The worst of all was that it made Ryoma the hero because he was the one who won the match after that.
I think after that match I will always have a soft spot for Tezuka in my heart.

Oh, it's true, that match made me love Tezuka, though I never cared for him much before. (I was a Fuji fan after the St. Rudolph arc, though he already interested me for a while before that, though it's the SRu arc that made me love tenipuri XD ... wow, I started watching tenipuri before the Fudoumine arc was even released so... >.>;; ... )

The only two that I like from Fudo. were Kamio and Ibu. LoL you just can't help but love him. Kamio and his evilness. Ibu and his ummm long ranting over absolutely nonsense. But like you, I always like Fuji the second I saw him. Maybe it was the whole feminine look he has. Maybe it was his sadist smile or the way he overcome Inui's vegetable drinks. LoL there are endless reasons as to why I adore Fuji but with each arc I just fall more in love with Fuji. As a result, I am always searching for a good Fuji fiction. Denite  But yeah I really want to see the match between Fuji and that guy with the bandage on his hand. I heard that was the match where Fuji cried after he lost. Like he wanted to win so badly but he just couldn't. *sniff sniff* will be waiting for the ova |

Shiraishi is creepy! But man is he good. Chapter 321 made me cry when Fuji lost. But, Yuuta's reaction was so nice.
That was an exceptional match though.

Yeah that match was AMAZING, Fuji is soooo cool! Awe but I like Shiraishi, but Fuji is my favorite so ya know? I was super duper sad he lost ='( .... Now I'm kind of waiting for Shiraishi x Fuji XD;;; ....

Tezuka x Fuji
-Eventhough it was only for Seigaku's intra-school ranking, I would say that this is the best match for me
As for a real match, I probably like, still.. Ryoma x Sanada (minus the effects.. remembering Sanada being thrown away by Ryoma's cyclone smash gives the creeps)

Hm.......I think the match with Atobe and Ryoma was good. In the nationals.
I was laughing so hard when Atobe had his hair though, but now he looks way weird >.<

That´s my favourite match also. I know I´m gonna get smacked for ever mentioning this, but Ryoma did deserve to win, the part where they are fighting to stand up and little Ryoma does it got me jumping up in the air (again)
And I LOVED the beginning part when Ryoma uses Atobe´s technique of snapping the fingers...and it was exciting and thirlling (even if I knew how it was gonna go for the mannga)
Impossible not to LOVE it.
Akutsu vs Ryoma was exciting and I got great satisfaction in seen Sanada getting his sorry little actitude stomped over.
