I was thinking of making this post a little special, but I’ve been busy
with other stuff, so it doesn’t seem like I can meet that expectation. Oh well, let’s go anyway.

I’m currently working on different pieces of art that I’ll send to the art school I want to go to. Here’s one of those I’ll send:

Now I think it’s time for some of my original characters…
Here’s a big picture of five of my boys. (Interestingly enough, none of them are main characters)
From left to right:
Midoriyama Takeo: Actually a third year in junior high, but he has a sickness that makes him grow really slowly. He’s also a bully, has a hot temper and likes to dress up as a, uhm, boyish counterpart to lolita.
Sakurakkô Kei: Think ”sheepish lion”, and you have Kei in a nutshell. Seriously. He is greatly admired for his looks and athletic skills, but he is STUPID, STUPID and STUPID. His heart, however, is pure.
Tsukimoto Riki: The most admired guy in school, has everything you can ask for; looks, brains, singing voice… but treat all his girlfriends like shit and dumps them after a week.
Hoshinaka Akira: YES, that’s a boy. YES, he looks like a girl, but watch out for saying that so he can hear you – he possesses monstrous physical strength!
Shiogorou Kuroi: A respectable character, a kendo genius always sticking to his country’s culture and traditions… and is also known as a porn guru! Seriously, there’s nothing he doesn’t know about pornography that is not worth to know.
Not an original character I suppose, since she’s unnamed. However, I like the design, so I might flesh out a personality or something for her.

Hobbies: Skateboarding, streetdance, the nature, drawing, daydreaming.
Dislikes: Injustice, all kinds of harassments.
Family: Mom (artist), dad (writer), a younger sister, two younger brothers.
Favourite animal: Dragon.
Favourite food: Snacks.
Favourite subject in school: Physical education and art.
Least favourite subject in school: Modern japanese. (she has a mild case of dyslexia)
Wants to become: Mangaka, voice actor, writer and adventurer.

My first-born child, and the heroine of the series. Mikomi is not your typical feeble, holy angel that most shoujo characters are; she fights quite dirty and doesn't hesitate to kick someone between the legs, regardless of the gender of the person. To be honest, I think she even has a
sadistic streak in her. She forgives easily though.
She also loves the nature, and animals. And will never turn down a challenge or go back on her words.

Birthday: 14 April.
Astrological Sign: Aries.
Bloodtype A.
Dominant hand: Right.
Personality: "Cool" (mostly), sensitive, easily irritated, random (he can be a real dork at times), loves to eat.
Hobbies: Music in general, discussions and debates, consuming food.
Dislikes: All kinds of sexual criminals.
Family: Grandmother, grandfather, younger half-brother, a dad he never spends time with.
Favourite animal: Tiger.
Favourite food: EVERYTHING except sushi and sake.
Favourite subject in school: Music and modern japanese.
Least favourite subject in school: Math.
Wants to become: A musician.
Theme song: Linkin Park – ”Somewhere I Belong”I know that Ryu seems like your average "Cool on the outside but really sweet on the inside" type of bishounen, but he isn't. It's hard to explain it in words, but he is actually one of the more 3D characters I've created so far. That's why I included the word "Random" among his personality traits. 'Cuz he's not just that easily categorized, even if it may look like that.

MIKORYU, MIKORYU FOREVER.
Srsly.
They are, like, my longest lasting OTP (six years). I love their interractions and how they are neither your shounen-sterotype couple (always fighting) nor your stereotypical shoujo couple (everything is pink and fluffy), but somewthing in-between that can't be explained in words.
Too bad Mikomi will have to kill Ryu in the storyline.

I was even seriously considering buying the OST overseas before I found download link IRC, I was just that desperate.
