Uhh, well next year AX is in Long Beach. No decisions have been made as to where we'll have the AX07 meeting. Probably won't get to deciding that until March-May of next year when we're closer to the con. Of course when I get details from cosplay.com and a gathering of interest there, then I'll make a post of info over here. xD

Usually since they're at cons, it's for like cosplay stuff. And then just hanging out after taking a bunch of photos in cosplay and what not. It's really fun, since you meet a lot of people that way. xD

Aw, sounds so fun. >_< Especially since only about 5% of my school knows what anime is. And that's only knowing about anime. Even less people obsess over it. >_>
LUCKYYYY.

Hehe....tried to have one in high school, but yeah wasn't so successful. >< Hehe, I'm just bad at keeping up with friends, so hehe....xD that's probably why I'm always wondering "I wonder how ___ is doing?" But yeah, there weren't much people into anime at my school. You could count them on your hands. T____T
I dunno, I met more people outside of there...through cosplay things (which has only been more recently, within like the past year or so). xD

You guys are so luckyyyyy~~~
There are ANIME CLUBS at your school. AMAZING! SIMPLY AMAZING!
It's mostly only the azns at my school that know what anime is. xD And most of them like TeniPuri. And most of them like tennis. =D
Only about half of them like yaoi. >_>
...maybe...A YAOI CLUB!

HAHA!!! Would that even be "appropriate" for school? xDDD
The anime club has died because the Boys & Girls Club instructor who was running it left...or something...
It might come back and the other Asian instructor to run it, but I don't know.

We had our first Asian student join our school for a year or two last month. Family moved over from London - he's two years below me and has a strong London accent, his grandparents moved to England from India in the 70's or something.
His first day and he was followed by a mob of 40+ white boys chanting 'seek, seek, seek asylum!!' and throwing things at him.
It's no wonder the only Chinese guy in 6th form left after six months.
An anime club couldn't be more inappropriate for my school. XD
