It's the romance I think...*thinks back to her first yaoi manga* well that was a bit over the top for my first one, but it was a great story. ^^: Shounen ai is the lesser version of yaoi, and I think that's where I started. With Gravitation (anime series) I think.

i'm just like whitelilacs... i dunno why... but i cannot get into or understand yuri... i only enjoy guy/girl and yaoi...

romance? yes. cute? yes. i guess those are the reasons for liking yaoi... a lot...

i dont remember how i got into yaoi... i think it was a random fanfiction my friend made me read... or a few of them... i remember reading ranma/ryoga from ranma 1/2 (but that's not REALLY completely yaoi... i guess...), syao/eriol from CCS... inuyasha/sess from inuyasha... and... OOO then i really got into it when i watched evangelion with kaworu and shinji... yeah... that's it... then came gravitation... then now, prince of tennis.

Heh heh. ^^: I guess I've grow more open since I've grow older, and gotten to understand things maybe?? ^^: Saa. I think I lied about my first encounter now that I think about it. I think I accidently found myself reading a shounen ai pairing fanfic of GW guys....which I found very weird at my age of ahh maybe 13?? 14?? It's been so long It must have been 12/13 around then. But of course, I love to put my female character with Tezuka sometimes. ^^: It's all PG-13 in that aspect. =D Tezuka love <3 <3 <3 Hard to share him...

I love it, I'm one of the few guys I know who like Yaoi ^^; (ok, actually I'm the only guy I know who likes yaoi).

Gundam Wing stuff is my favorite but I really love Tenipuri, mostly Fuji x Ryoma and Tezuka x Ryoma. Nothing beats a captain taking advantage of his kohai ^_~

Yay!! A guy who likes yaoi. I seriously don't find many of those. XD XD Hmm, I'm not fond of Ryoma pairings (except with Momo-chan-senpai XD). ^^: Although I will check it out every now and then. At least the TezuRyo ones, sometimes FujiRyo too.

Hmm, 15...^^ I didn't get more into yaoi until I was 18. (Actually it was mainly the influence of my anime club. The guys tried to keep me away from it, chanting "bad influence". Well you know what happens when the cat gets curious...). But I guess it's for some and not. Yeah, Tezuka has his irresistable qualities/points. Atobe too...XD XD Although he would be a handful, but I love Atobe anyway. That spoiled little boy. <3 <3 <3

and in my opinion... it doesnt really matter what age you are to accept and like yaoi... it all depends on who you are, i think... i've accepted and liked yaoi officially since 7th grade (12/13 yrs old)... and i never thought it was wrong or anything in my life... now it's three years later... i have friends who can't accept it... and i have other friends who do... although, they dont have to like it...

so it's very... depending on who you re... i think...

Me, I've liked yaoi since I was 11, and that was last year Happily, my first yaoi sighting was when I read my first PoT fanfic. I got so into the stories of TezFuji that I began writing some on my own Ne, I was wondering, what's Kikumaru's first name? Kikumaru or Eiji? It's hard to tell... cause Kikumaru sounds better as a first name, but in the anime it's pronounced Kikumaru Eiji, so I thought Eiji must be the first name... I don't know!

Ah yeah his first name is Eiji... but they call him by both a lot so it gets confusing... I think that Inui and Tezuka are the only ones who address him as "Kikumaru"... which in my opinion, is a cuter name than "Eiji". BLAH.

I can't remember when exactly I got into yaoi... I've mainly been interested in the cutesy cuddly stuff because it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside... so I guess it's more of a shounen-ai for me...

XD There's a pretty complex debate on why yaoi is so popular... there's like a solid list of 8 or 9 different explainations. Whenever the debate comes up I think about it, but right now I'm in the camp of,

I know at least two guys irl into yaoi, and there are some more I've met online. =P Back to it's just great sort of things.... ^^;;

I remember reading yaoi fanfics for DNAngel back in my junior year of high school... that was probably the first, though I don't remember when I saw Gravitation, but I'm not sure how much Gravitation counts since everyone loves it ^^;; even guys.
