...Wait a second. Bad acting as Kou... was it the character? ...Since I really couldn't see Naoya acting bad. xD;; (I wonder how he captured Yasuka's attitude as Byakko so well?) Anki is the blind one. Yosui is the one with the ugly hair and Kagero is the gay one with the harisen. (Oh... and Anki had aqua hair in the anime. And he was CUTE. You have no idea how much I hated the hair change in the live-action. And besides, the actor is fugly. >.< Anki I like for some reason. I have no idea why, though...) Hm. Musashi ends up killing Reira... Ryoma uses the eye trick on Kagero and kills him, then he tries to use it on Musashi but the guy breaks free and injures Ryoma himself... PS. OMG! O.O I don't believe this! In Fuuma Hanran-hen (sequel of Yasha-hen and Seiken Sensou-hen, aka the first two parts of the anime. The live-action is based on Yasha-hen.) Ryoma ends up killing a hypnotized, rebelling Kirikaze! (Before his death Kiri got cured of his hypnotized state and wrote the name of the guy who had hypnotized him... in his own blood.) And actually all remaining Fuuma members, except Kojiro and Ryoma, die. By that I mean Ryuho and Shoryu. T.T All three of them were hypnotized by Shimon, a former Fuuma member who had betrayed them. Followed by Muma and Raien, another two betrayers, he ordered the three to attack their comrades. Ryoma killed Kirikaze, Shimon ended up commanding Shoryu to commit suicide with his own black feather (because otherwise he would have revealed his name) and either Muma or Shimon killed Ryuho. Like I said, I didn't mean the actor, but the character - Byakko himself was a REALLY bad actor. I mean, he was SO OBVIOUS!!! He knew nothing about Kou and instead of picking up on his surroundings and adjusting himself, he kept on being really friggin suspicious!!! In fact, he captured Byakko's attitude so well that there was no Kou in there at all. Quite a feat while wearing the costume and style of one character and imitating another actor. But for Byakko, that was the problem. He was too conspicuous which is why I can't believe no one noticed him. Yeah, I thought that was Anki. I like Anki to an extent. I thought the actor suited the personality of the character well, and the feeling he gave off was good.

OOPS. XD It wasn't Anki with the aqua hair. Anki is cute both in the anime and live-action. It was Yosui with the aqua hair (and who was cute and whose live-action actor looks horrendous). This is anime Yosui. And this is Anki. Shiranui looks a bit psycho in the anime, too... xD Shien looks simply awesome. x3 I love his hair and eyes. (...He looks nearly exactly like Saint Seiya's Aiacos and Suikyo. o.O Kurumada must have recycled their designs when creating Shien...) Raiden had longish blond hair originally? And beady eyes? ...o.o And Mibu... OMG, Mibu. So cute! X.X Musashi still looks too much like Saint Seiya's Ikki IMO. Damn that Kurumada for recycling his characters... xD;; Kidding, I like Musashi. Ikki looked good, so let Kurumada recycle the design. ...He has some pretty awesome expressions in the anime. After learning that his sister died, talking about something that has to do with his sword (...that sounds so equivocal! xD), and just a cute little evil expression. x3 Byakko, Kagero (o.O He was an ugly guy with a low IQ originally, and in the live-action he's manipulative?), Kurojishi (black hair and he looks fugly and scary? o.o). Kou and Shoryu actually looked EXACTLY alike in the anime. Ryuho didn't look too bad... If it wasn't for the nose, I could like him. xD Kirikaze was quite pretty... x3 HOMG! RYOMA! ...O.O I never knew there was such a screencap of him. Another one. ...He seriously looks like Shiryu from Saint Seiya. ...I think Kurumada recycled that design, too. Ah. Anime version of the battle between Kou and Byakko. Byakko after stealing Kou's face. And Byakko as Kou with an evil smile. (I think I like the anime version of this incident a lot. x3) ...I still think Sigma is the one I like the most (his green eyes are fricken captivating! X.X). ...I wish they did the sequels... at least I could finally see what a live-action Sigma is like...

I would so watch the anime if it wasn't for the awful old art style that I can't stand. (No offense since I know you watch a lot of that but it just doesn't appeal to me.)

Eh, the art's not that bad. xP Saint Seiya's is worse (even though they have the same animators and only a couple of years between their releases). B'tX is another one of Kurumada's creations (along with FNK and StS), and the anime.... well, I like the eyes a lot. Fou here, for example. And Hokuto. The somewhat different art style makes their eyes really expressive. This was animated in 1996, by the way. ...Hm. The art of Saint Seiya: Tenkai-Hen (newest movie) doesn't look old, since it was made in 2004. This guy is Icarus Touma, the long lost little brother of one of the few female Saints, Aquila Marin. Cygnus Hyoga (one of the main characters) in Tenkai-Hen style... and brothers Ikki and Shun. (Btw, in the manga ALL Bronze Saints are half-brothers. xD And you know, originally there were 100 of them but only 35 survived their training.) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Saint Seiya Hades: Sanctuary can be found on Crunchyroll. That's the page I linked, right there. ...It has a pretty good art style (at least compared to the sequel, Hades: Inferno). The release year is 2002. I don't know if this art style's better, but it's worth watching anyway. Considering there's not a live-action of Saint Seiya (yet?). It's pretty easy to like the main characters. x3 Especially Shion, young Dohko, Shura and most of the Gold Saints. (And Ikki, Shiryu, Shun and Hyoga of the Bronze ones. ...Can't stand Seiya for some reason.) In Hades: Sanctuary the Bronze Saints still had their original seiyuus from 1986, but in Hades: Inferno they changed. Seiya=Toru Furuya>Masakazu Morita, Shiryu=Hirotaka Suzuoki>Takahiro Sakurai, Shun=Ryo Horikawa>Yuuta Kazuya, Hyoga=Kouichi Hashimoto>Hiroaki Miura, Ikki=Hideyuki Hori>Katsuyuki Konishi. ...Ikki's seiyuus sound quite alike to me, and so do Seiya's. Actually, they all do. I can't believe some fans want the old cast back. It seems like they don't understand that Shiryu and Mu's original seiyuus are dead. >.> (Mu=Kaneto Shiozawa>Takumi Yamazaki.)

It's not really that the art's bad, it's just not a style I enjoy watching. Style makes all the difference in the feel of an anime, and that old style just doesn't suit me.

Which styles do you like? ...Most stuff goes for me. That old style, Hades style, Saiyuki, Gundam SEED, Final Fantasy Advent Children, Miyazaki. Pretty much anything.

There's not many I don't like, but there are few that really stand out in a positive sense. Loveless for example, is just a beautiful art style. Gilgamesh has a n interesting style that enhances the feel of the anime. Noein has the same sort of thing. Advent Children is of course just awesome. I hate One Piece, though. It's so 'American Cartoon'-y. Things like Naruto and Bleach are fairly plain but I guess no-one watches them for the art. I LOVE Kaori Yuki's art style. Angel Sanctuary the animation doesn't quite capture that, but it's still quite good. I absolutely adore the art style int he Kenshin OVA's but the art of the series also suits it. Also, with Higurashi no naku koro ni, the plain, simple, almost childish art is necessary. Any more realistic and the violent scenes would lose their controversy.

Hm. Loveless style reminds me of Matantei Loki. Seen that? ...It's pretty awesome. x3 Norse mythology wins. Adult Loki... <3 Loveless is also a bit Fruit Basket-y...? GNGRL.... X.X I found a Saiyuki Gunlock image gallery... Kougaiji really is one of my favorites. x3. Two more images: one and two. And... Hazel.. Another image (I think he's actually dying here...). Yup. It's THAT scene. T______T Oh, and Zakuro (his psychotic laughs are <3. And I love his hair and eyes, too. x3).

KUROJISHI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And to think I was thinking *MIBU!!!!!* Not 10 minutes before that!!!
>.< I knew Kuro-chan was gonna die by why did it have to be by the hands of my other favorite Yasha!? Well, Better Mibu than any other Yasha. And yet, I'm glad Ryuho didn't have to kill him cause they seemed like they could have gotten aong quite well. Still I'd have preferred if Kuro-chan had won the match and then lt Ryuho go. ^.^ That would have made up for his untimely death.
(With that, I return to my lack of laptop imposed hiatus.)

...Hey, am I wrong, or does Tsuyoshi Hayashi look like a mix of Mamoru Miyano and the Sakamoto twins? o____O Oh, and Kazuki Kitamura reminds me of VIC MIGNOGNA. XDDDDDDDD
