Eiji is not retarded. Why did that person posted that he's retarded? I think he just puts in on for a fashion accessory or that he has something that people don't want to see.

maybe he got a scar oneday and covered it up or something, but then when it healed and he took off the bandaid, everybody kept on asking him where his bandaid was because he had it on for so long, it became his trademark accessory o.o

or maybe he wore the bandaid till it healed, but it took so long that he got a tan, so there was a bandaid shaped mark on his face XD

boo XD I like Suteishichic's explaination the best, her fanfiction Learning to Fall has a story of how Eiji got hurt and why he continuously wears a bandaid, and a very realistic one. Best fanfic ever!!

He does save a lot with his acrobatics but it shows that he balances himself right back up. But its not possible for him to get him in the same spot all over again.
